We have driven by Italia Gardens on many occasions and our friends asked if we wanted to go to their favorite Italian restaurant which happened to be Italia Gardens.
If you are looking for a tasty Italian meal at a reasonable price and excellent service, you need to stop in at Italia Gardens.
As we walked in the wood burning oven was fired up, see photo.
We arrived early and were seated quickly and our server, Savannah, was very pleasant and attentive to us. Would definitely ask for Savannah on our next visit for sure.
With the meal, came a very nice salad 🥗 for 4 with greens, olives, tomatoes, onion, pepperoncini and croutons with an Italian dressing. Also a wonderful loaf of bread with whipped butter.
With the meal we ordered garlic bread which was excellent and would serve 4 easily.
We placed our orders and by the time we all had a plate of salad, our meals had arrived.
The portions were definitely on the large side seeing that each of us got a to-go container.
As much as we wanted dessert there was just no move even though the desserts sounded delicious 😋.
There is a history for the Italia Gardens, take time to read it.
Would definitely go back to try a different dish.
And lastly, their to-go bag was labeled reuse and recycle, which is being...
Read moreMe and my Wife tried to have dinner here on Friday Evening. We were seated at 7:30. Looked to be there were at least 3 waitresses working and the restaurant was 1/3 full. All 3 waitresses walked by our table and never greeted us. Then, 2 of the waitresses just stood alongside the hostess chatting. It is now 7:45. We were able to ask the bus boy if he could let 1 of the 2 waitresses that were doing nothing that we were ready to be greeted. He said “I’ll see what I can do” At 7:52 a waitress approached the table directly next to us and asks them if they need boxes instead of asking us if we would like something to drink. That was it for me and we got up and left. While leaving the Bus Boy said I’m so sorry and the hostess had the you know what’s to say “Have a nice Evening” while she knew exactly what happened. They close at 9. Ample time for us to be served and out well before 9. I wish the Hostess would have said “Well it’s 7:30 and we close at 9 and it’s Friday Night. We all have plans. I can seat you but we will all completely ignore you until you leave” I would have been fine with that. Just a heads up to STAY AWAY unless you arrive 2 hours...
Read moreFood was OK, pasta a little plain where it's really just pasta and sauce with tomato based sauce too sweet for our taste. Alfredo sauce was fine, and Chick parm was OK too, but table bread was really good. Service was disappointing which made experience disappointing, we were maybe 1 of 4 tables of guests, really wasn't busy at all, but after 25 minutes actually had to stop our wandering by waitress and ask her to get our empty water glasses filled. None of us were asked even once for refills of any drink. To make it even more odd, she only looked at me, wouldn't look at husband in eyes even when he was talking to her, so definitely a little uncomfortable. Never even greeted saying hi, when we sat down in first place. Just odd, something not right, dead ambience. Hubby still gave her nice tip to be nice, but wish we had a better server. Pretty sure we will avoid this restaurant in future, it was our anniversary too, so even more reason that this dining experience was topic of conversation...
