DK Donuts & Burgers — Restaurant in Oxford Charter Township

I used the drive thru on both trips which maybe an issue for the young boys working the window. The order was verbatim the same, "I would like a dozen donuts. Anything chocolate, cake batter and/or custurd filled is preferred. I would also like a buttercream long jon as well. Thank you sir". The 1st time going was amazing! Top notch quick service and EVERYTHING was perfect with a bright array of donuts I looked so forward to trying. I was in a car accident that day with a 5 day hospital stay so the only one I tried was my buttercream long Jon that took me back to my small hometown bakery fresh made buttercream long jons. AMAZING. Fast forward to 3 weeks later and round #2.... HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Same day of week and time of day, same order, same verbiage, stated 3 times at the speaker and 3 more times at the window as to my order, same boys... long time wasting at speaker, window before contact, window after my card was taken, nobody in drive-thru line of inside customers so not busy. My order came out as a dozen donuts with only 4 different ones... 3 custard chocolate covered, 5 buttercream chocolate covered, 2 chocolate dipped chocolate cake and 2 cake with red icing on them, which tasted like grocery store icing from a tube on a great cake donut. My buttercream long Jon was a custard long jon which solved no craving when you are expecting that sweetness. This is a FAR CRY to what I ordered, paid for or wanted. Oh my God!! This place is unreal with donuts.. I don't how to express it that this place is no Dunkin donuts, or Krispy Kreme donuts. They in a whole different class I would say absolutely a lugury class is all I can say.. and if your wanting something sweet but wanting a wanna bee fake burger from a fast food place! Don't!! Go and knock it out two birds with one stone. And get a donut burger meal. Good Lord.. I was like seriously a donut burger meal. Chuckling to myself.l...it was absolutely awesomeness best decision I made for a meal and something little sweet at same time.. I just know it's a small little independent place.. but would not be surprised if this place with it's unique. and I mean unique people!!! donuts!! That they become a big franchise commercial restaurant company one day.. so if you like to indulge in eating donuts and also like get a burger to satisfy you're hunger... Then you need to some how! Some way get to (Donut's & Burgers) restaurant!! .... And experience what a real actual donut or maybe your wanting l cheese burger? Maybe your wanting both!?.... You won't look back after indulging here.... The choice is...

The only time I have ever eaten food from here, it was because I picked it up for my brother as a favor to him on my way to his house. He claimed it was the best burger in the world, so I gave it a shot. While the burger itself was pretty good, the bun tasted like doughnuts, which I really didn't like at all. Obviously it was because it is a doughnut shop and they had likely been cooked in the same oil or something along those lines, but regardless, it really wasn't to my liking. The french fries, on the other hand, were outstanding.....some of the best I have ever had. They remind me of the fries from a place called Lipuma's Coney Island in downtown Rochester (which I highly recommend going to if you like coney places, because it is literally the best in the world.....no cap). As far as the drinks go, they were just store-bought canned soda, so any issue there would be on Coca-Cola, which there wasn't obviously. Overall, while my brother says it's the best burger he has ever eaten, I personally wasn't a fan, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it for yourself, as you may find you agree with his...
