Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Oxnard

Please stay away from this location. Unless you want to experience the worst customer service by Elizabeth (the day manager) and no help by the owner. This is an outline of my experience there...

Order was incorrectly made a week ago by manager Jacqueline (the night shift manager who offered to replace the order with a free meal NOT just the items that were missing). She left a note and did not state the free meal given as replacement but just the items missing.

I go to pick up the free meal about one week later and Elizabeth the day shift manager says she could only give me what is on the note (Elizabeth did not write down the free meal).

We had an argument about the inaccuracies of the note. After accepting that she couldn't help me, I asked for the owners contact information (she said she couldn't give me that info). She then gave me a phone number which she stated was the corporate phone number. It had a local area number and I asked if she was sure, she said "yes".

On my way home, I call the number and it was the incorrect number. So I drive back and tell her she lied to me about the number. She says, "your harassing me" and I say "how?." I let her know that I am audio recording our conversation so that there is no confusion the next time about our conversation.

Elizabeth then threatens to call the police. She calls someone on the phone (I think it was the owner) and proceeds to call the police.

I said "fine" and wait for the police, I tell them what happened, I advise the police to please look at the camera to verify that I have done nothing wrong (besides raising my voice out of frustration) and they said not to worry and to pursue litigation if...

We just moved here and live down street. We feel the need to give credit where it's due and this location has the MOST POLITE TEAM. I'm a cashier myself so customer service is my number 1 priority and these guys are super genuine. Been here like 3 times and every time I've come with my family, never have we felt like the food is real yummy but the service sucks. Some places are like that but this place isn't. They have the best chili cheese fry burritos and their corndogs are amazing! And the ice cream menu....yeah well we love all of it. Feeling thankful for a place that gets it right-finally!...

I love the convenience of this location- especially when we crave ice cream or a chili dog. Recently- the past few months- the customer service has really been terrible. Last night the cashier argued with me when I told her I didn't order shakes. I tried to give her back my receipts and card and she snapped at me again. Until the manager came over, she was a extremely rude. Then she was somewhat polite, but very short with me, so matter how polite I was. They fixed the order, thankfully, but with that type of service we will stick with Baskin...
