AMAZING food. That being said, not worth the wait or horrible service you will endure. We sat down at 5:25 to a mostly empty restaurant. And finally left at 7:08- without some of the food we had ordered. We were refunded for the food that never arrived. On the way home I discovered we were overcharged when the server rang up our food incorrectly and he did not fix this issue. But what I am most upset with is the fact that a member of my group suffers from a severe allergy to meat products. She spoke with our server about what she could order and decided on veggie fajitas. She was told her meal would be prepared in a special pan away from other meat products. She also asked that her rice be brought out on the side as she is allergic to grains. She was brought steak fajitas because that is what the server rang in. And her rice and beans were together on the plate. Which means that there was NO discussion with the kitchen about her allergy. She sent the steak fajitas back and within a few minutes, new veggie fajitas appeared. She commented that they were almost cold but didn't think much else until her face started to swell and throat started to close. Looking back, we believe they simply picked the steak out of the meal (although the owner claims this is not the case when I called them). However, considering it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive the first time, it's hard to imagine that new fajitas were whipped up in 3 minutes. Lastly, a member of our group ordered street tacos (their taco Tuesday special). After his first bite he immediately ordered 3 more because they were so good. We finished eating, sat and waited another 25 minutes and the tacos were still not ready. We finally cancelled that order and left. I called and spoke with the manager who offered us a gift card, apologized and tried to excuse it with 'this is the busiest we have been'. Considering the restaurant wasn't full, I feel this was most likely a case of poor management and not being prepared to operate a restaurant. The kitchen is clearly understaffed or under trained and I think it is obvious that 'taco tuesday' at a Mexican restaurant could draw a large crowd so you should be prepared. All of this aside, my major issue is still the concern that they did not take food allergies seriously. If I were to review them based on their food, it would be 5 stars. If you are going to give them a chance, I recommend calling...

The atmosphere: It was clean and simple. The cool colors felt very inviting and set a relaxing tone. I appreciated how simple the decor was, it didn’t feel too busy

The food: It was delicious and reasonably priced. My wife and I both ordered the California Burrito and the portion size was very very generous. Everything put into the plate was fresh. The chicken and beef were seared to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The French fries were perfectly fried. The cheese poured over the burrito made the shell soft and it almost melted in your mouth. The sour cream was fresh and the lettuce was crisp. The pico de gallo was obviously freshly made in house as the quality was top notch.

The staff: They were very attentive and available for any need that arose during dinner. It seemed as though everyone was our server as they all checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal.

Overall, we were very happy with the experience and will return. If I had to make a complaint, the only thing I would say is that the cheese dip was a little runnier than I prefer. This is my preference. I have no complains about the quality or safety of the food, atmosphere, or the service. While this place is the “new guy on the block” they definitely have what it takes to be one of the best Latin restaurants in the area. If you like Mexican food and want to try something different they have a variety of dishes from other South American countries that are worth trying. You definitely should...

10/10 great experience from the time we walked in until the time we left. Friendly and personable customer service from the staff that we interacted with. Restaurant was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The drinks were absolutely delicious! We all ordered something a little different, from beer to margaritas to something we had never tried before. I don’t even know where to start with the food, from the appetizers to the main dish and finally dessert—every single thing was impeccable! I love that this restaurant offers something unique, it’s not your typical Mexican food restaurant-it encompasses Latin dishes from all over. Yes, they have your traditional Mexican dishes (enchiladas or burritos), but I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying one of the dishes from Cuba or Puerto Rico! To end your meal, you have to try one of their desserts. I had a Brazilian treat called Brigadeiros (scratch made fudge)...seriously, SO good! I can assure you that you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait...

This is a gem in the Springfield / Ozarks area. From having gone to Miami and a couple of different Latin American countries, I was really starting to feel what this area is missing, so I was really glad when I found this restaurant via a Google search. I went to Puerto Rico over the summer and was so excited to see mofongo on the menu, because I thought it didn't exist in this area. The mofongo is delicious (I asked for chicken instead of shrimp). Their gallo pinto is also good. Can't wait to go back and try the other items. (The only thing is I wish they would add fried cheese with guayaba sauce to the appetizers list). I also liked the atmosphere, and it was fun to hear popular songs in Spanish from various countries instead of just a Mexico focus. In all, this is a great restaurant that is not like many others in this area.

Keep in mind that I have some really good points of reference for this type of cuisine. The food tasted okay. Could have used seasoning. We lomo saltado, and tamales poblano. The tamales were made from a very delicate masa which for a pork tamale, and the poblano flavor was missing. The lomo Saltado was better, but the rice hadn't been handled correctly and was crispy. . A lot of things felt a little too prepared? As in not made to order. If I'm honest, I have really high expectations so most everyone will probably enjoy the food just fine!
