BAGEL KITCHEN — Restaurant in Pacific Grove

1-19-25: 6th order of the year since my first order on 1-5-25. All previous orders have been pretty good Previously I’ve ordered 1) Lox Lover & Bagel Dog $28.00, 2) Original Veggie & Bagel Dog $22.25, 3) Breakfast Burrito w/ Chorizo{Added Spinach, Cheese, Sautéed Red Onions for additional charges } you get a choice of Salsa and the spicy is a green sauce that is Spicy 🌶️ 🥵$25.00, 4) Chicken Club & Bagel Dog $24.11. The Bagels I’ve had were Garlic and Sea Salt which were both fresh and definitely taste the garlic and the Sea Salt. My 5th order which was on 1-17-25 the Turkey Night Club {Roasted Turkey Breast,Bacon, Jack Cheese, Tomato 🍅, Avocado 🥑, & Lettuce 🥬} Condiments added were Mayo & Spicy Mustard. I also ordered the Bagel Dog which I’ve ordered three times previously. The Bagel Dog wasn’t that good, wasn’t even warm….it was definitely made earlier in the day and was just laying around till sold. 👎🏻 Turkey Night Club….where do I start? Bagel was good, but that’s it! Dry Dry Dry Dry like the Saharan Desert.🌵 🏜️ The flavor combo just didn’t have any pizzazz! Maybe it would’ve tasted better if it was a hot sandwich or if not add cream cheese and leave out the lettuce. This Bagel is one I won’t be re ordering $23.04

Today 1-19-25 I will order the Protein Veggie {Double slice of cheese of your choice OR plain Cream Cheese, Tomato, Onion, Avocado, & Sprouts} I chose a Asiago Cheese Bagel {+$1.00} Toasted with Chive Cream Cheese {+$1.00} , added Lox {+ $4.50} ~ $15.25 for this Bagel 🤑 and the Bagel Dog $ 5.55 which has been ordered four times previously, Hopefully the Bagel Dog is warm upon delivery, last time it was cold🥶. * Note: although it’s listed in the ingredients as an item on the bagel, there’s a + $3.00 charge for PLAIN CREAM CHEESE. Placed order @: 7:03 a.m. Arrived @: 7:24 a.m. I unwrapped the Bagel Dog and it was warm. It’s a 💯 % beef hot dog 🌭 wrapped with plain bagel dough. We were looking to grab a quick bite to eat before grocery shopping at Safeway and this came up.

Their storefront immediately signaled trendy with it's minimalist artwork, hanging garden, and neon sign. The first thing that caught my eye was the avocado toast on sprouted grain bread priced at $4.95. The last time I'd ordered avocado toast it was nearer to $9. Huh. Secondly, their bagels were markedly thinner than the carb bombs that are brought in every Friday from Bagel Corner.

I decided on the Jalapeno Bomb, with eggs, jalapeno, pepper jack cheese, avocado and side of salsa. In my experience, jalapeno cheddar bagels are notoriously greasy on behalf of the cheese, so I opted for a blueberry bagel and spicy salsa.

Upon arrival, I noticed the generous portioning of fresh, perfectly ripe avocado. I dolloped some of the salsa verde and in the first bite knew it was a winner. Even the latte I ordered was plenty fine considering it wasn't a dedicated coffee shop! I also had a bite of my girlfriend's bagel, whose jalapeno cheddar bagel was not at all greasy to the touch.

We will definitely be back. Great location to hit before or after shopping at Safeway or Trader Joe's or before heading...

First time customer today purchased two sandwiches and a coffee when i went up to pay at the register i seen some kitchen cooks handling some people’s foods while eating French fries very unsanitary and inconsiderate to the customers for all we know oral hygiene can carry diseases, once the kitchen staff noticed me literally staring at him eating French fries while handling some customers food, he started making remarks and laughing at the suituation that i caught him eating while handling customers meals very unprofessional and disrespectful. The kitchen staff started making fun at the fact that they were in the wrong by being unsanitary so they made themselves feel better by laughing at it discreetly. I don’t know what’s worse being unsanitary eating French fries while handling peoples meals or being disrespectful by laughing at it for being caught i was very near close on calling them out infront of every customer their poor mentality poor mindfulness only gets them so far so i decided to put my energy somewhere else to not embarrass them.
