Wow! Alicia did an amazing job catering our wedding weekend. It all started with the tastings - her food was excellent, presented in a very relaxed no-pressure environment. She was the 3rd (of 5) we tried, and we were pretty certain we were going to proceed with her after the tasting, .... but since the process is fun (and we had already booked & paid for the other tastings), continuing with the last two only solidified our decision.

In the intervening months, she prompt and thorough in responding to the occasional questions we had, and she was flexible in scheduling for site visits to the wedding venue, to our home (for a brunch she catered the following day), and to two rental locations for linens, silverware, etc.

The actual day of was perfect - she handled a number of food allergies and restrictions without any issue, the food we had was amazing, and we also heard the same from many of our guests: several commented to us that night or the following day on how great it was, and one wrote us afterward "The food was Out of the World - best wedding dinner I've ever had." Alicia's bartenders did a great job keeping everyone lubricated, including with two specialty cocktails we requested. And she also packed up some the leftovers for us to enjoy for the next few days; our only regret is that we didn't get any leftover wedding cake!

The following day, she set up for brunch at our home, and similarly great food. But - since in this case the venue was ours - I can also add that, when they cleaned up at the end of the event, the place was spotless; they even walked the perimeter of our property to make sure no paper napkins or food debris etc. had ended up where it shouldn't. And several of our guests commented on how friendly the staff was.

What more can I say? We're glad we went...

I had Toast for my wedding in November!

Alicia was an absolute dream to work with. She was so helpful and really assisted with making our ambience what it was- romantic, classic and simple. She steered us toward the right linens, silverware and made sure we didn’t need to splurge to have a beautiful wedding.

She also ended up being our chef for our tasting and she did a fabulous job. You really see her love and dedication to her business shine whenever you talk to her about her success. She truly cares about her clients and wants the best for them and their events. She has such pride in her staff and cares for them and you can tell they love working for her as they were smiling and even took photos in our Photo Booth! Toast Bay Area has a great team and I am looking forward to more weddings to have their yummy food (which we got sent home with leftovers as the bride groom on our wedding night…so thoughtful)!

Toast Catering & My-Dung was the best part of wedding planning. My-Dung is the most responsive and trustworthy vendor I have worked with. She answered any and all questions regarding food/menus, plus even general wedding logistics I needed help sorting out. Not only was working with My-Dung stress-free, it was actually reassuring. She really cares for you, doesn't charge extraneous fees like other vendors, and even helped a confused groom attach his boutonniere. The food also makes Toast an easy decision. Delicious and reasonably priced with plenty of options. At their complimentary menu tasting, they let you pick a generous number of dishes to try, all of which we enjoyed. Absolutely recommend their chicken & waffles appetizer - one guest loved them so much he ate 5 of them. Day of - Toast did both set up and tear down of the reception area. Everyone was very professional and executed it all smoothly.

All in all, highly recommend Toast - these are the experienced people you want...
