Alright I am normally not a person that gets on social media to display my displeasure with local business but my patience does have it's limits. I received a marketing flyer from Marco's pizzeria inviting us to give them another chance to please us as customers. We ordered from this same place about 8 months ago and were incredibly disappointed with the wait time for our food and their failure to deliver the complete order after such a long wait. We decided that since there was a new manager we would give them another shot since they do have good food. That proved to be an epic mistake. We placed an order last night at 6:16 pm that was to include 2 pizzas, cheese bread, a brownie, and 2 movies. At 8:00 We called to see where the order we had already paid for was. They assured us it had just left and would be arriving hot and fresh any moment. 8:10 and the food that was undoubtedly prepared closer to the 6:16 order time. It was far closer to cold than hit and yo top it off, the movies that had been checked out under our names were not with the driver. She stated that she left them at the store and she would run back and get them. I called and spoke to the shift manager who assured me that they would make us another order of our food and send that back with the movies. This was at 8:18 pm. At 9:45 last night I had to get in my truck and drive down to the store to get the movies that were ordered with the food at 6:15. Once there they inform me that they had put the movies in another driver's car earlier and they weren't there. This is despite the fact that I had called to tell them I was coming to retrieve them. While there I did see my remade order sitting on the same rack that my first order died upon. The manager asked if I would like to take that with me and I refused. I then had to go over to the movie store and have them uncheck out the movies previously put under my name and replace them with copies in the store. I called the store manager that sent out the flyer asking for another opportunity and to be informed of any issues or problems that have influenced our decision to stop ordering from them. He seemed absolutely disinterested in satisfying any concerns and offered 20 credit for a future order that will never be used due to the highest level of incompetence and inefficiency I have ever experienced in my roughly 30 years as a paying customer. If I can recommend anything it's order any food from Marcos Pizzeria in Paducah, KY to be picked up because delivering goods to paying customers is too difficult and challenging an endeavor for employees at this particular franchise location. Couldn't go 0 stars is the only reason...
Read more(Absolute best pizza chain in Paducah. Very consistent. )Ok I posted this the two days later my two almost three year old started asking for pizza so I got online and ordered pizza at 8:30. When I ordered it said delivery time would be 73 mins, I thought ok everyone is short staffed that’s ok I can wait and probably keep my little boy occupied until it gets here. At 10:45 I’m thinking I better just call and make sure because they close at 11 and i wondered if my order didn’t just get misplaced. So by this time my little boy is crying for pizza, so I call the store and they answered “If you ordered pizza we will be issuing refunds later our manager isn’t here we’re short staffed, if you are calling to order we’re closed.” I said I ordered at 8:30 and been waiting and you couldn’t call your customers and explain the situation? He said “No sorry you can talk to the manager tomorrow”, and hangs up. I understand stuff happens, people walk out, people don’t show up. All I expected was at the very least was a call to let me know I wasn’t getting the food I ordered that I was expecting to feed my family, instead we waited 2 1/2 to 3 hours only to be told no pizza and it’s 11 o’clock and we have to try to find somewhere open to go get because at 11 you can’t get anything delivered obviously. So I guess goodbye to our favorite pizza place in the...
Read moreLets set the scene...16 hours of driving, I ask what do you kids want to eat? They yell PIZZA! Perfect nothing better than a small pizza pool party at the hotel for sharing family memories. I call Marco's excited to be the pizza hero. I go to pick it while Mom gets the kids to the pool. 15 minutes they say and reward for a long day of driving is complete. Well that was ripped away from our family and left with a solemn drive back to the hotel with no spoils or road warrior-ing if to show for it. Let's start with the only reason I noticed they hadn't started my order was I heard them say fire a cheesy bread on the fly. I've already been waiting 25 minutes. I told her to forget the cheesy bread it's already 9:30 pm and then they noticed nothing was done and I had already paid, weird that's cool. The only person that actually asked if I had been helped was a delivery guy on his way out he's cool. They couldn't just refund my credit card so it took another 10 minutes to figure out how to refund me cash. Weird. I wasn't going to wait for my whole order to get down since the kids are already starving and losing precious pool pizza party memories. So pretty garbage experience with not much actual work by the staff except complaining about their...
