If you look at my history, I don't usually do low ratings. Overall I was dissatisfied with the buffet choices, and still am wondering what several of the dishes were. While some like onions, I don't, and it was hard to find selections on the buffet that was not loaded with onions.
Some of the food was lukewarm, other selections was cold. If you want a taco salad, you have to make it in a Styrofoam bowl. They do offer small softshells, but they are on the buffet, wrapped in foil. Very difficult to make a taco if you wanted to, and very little choices to complete a taco bar if you wanted to try to put one together.
There is no tortilla chips and salsa at the table as customary with most Mexican cuisine restaurants in the region, nor is any chips or salsa avaliable at the buffet.
We ordered a particular brand of soft drink, was told they had ran out. We selected another option, and later found out on the bill that they were $3.25/ea.
Overall, this place has potential and the staff is very friendly; however the experience with food today is less than fufilling, and the $35 bill for two has formed our decision to not return. Lots of other Mexican restaurants in the area set the bar for expectations much higher than this...
Read moreI was really excited to see Paducah getting a Mexican buffet! That is, until I got there. There is only about 8 entrees to pick from, a sad salad bar, and a couple of soggy desserts. All of the "hot" food was luke warm at best - cold by the time you got back to your table. There are no chips and salsa or cheese dip. Cost: For adults, it is 12.99 plus drink. The drinks are $3.25 each (They were out of Coke and Mr. Pibb). For $16.24 each, we could have went to an actual Mexican restaurant and ordered quite a bit of food that is actually hot AND had endless chips and salsa. Unfortunately, we will not be back because we will go to an actual mexican restuarant.
edit - Note: I have never been to the ice cream shop at the other end of the strip mall. It may be amazing. This review is for the Mexican buffet, not the...
Read moreA Mexican buffet! Just what Paducah needed🎉🥳. It has something for everyone... chicken, pork, beef, steak... and vegan choices. This is great Mexican and their fresh salsa and guacamole on the cold bar does NOT need to be forgotten. Everything I had was awesome. My wife and I had a little of everything between my interests and hers and we were both pleased. She especially liked the stuffed poblano peppers. My favorite was the wide selection of fajita style meats... all excellent. Come try it, trust me......
