Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Paducah

When we first stepped into this place there was a very strong musky mildew smell. We decided to ignore it and sit down because in the past their food had been very good. The walls had paint peeling all over the place. Strange stains and liquids that had never been cleaned ran down the walls under all the tables and onto the floors. It looked disgusting, and we debated on leaving. A kind waitress gave us our menus and I should have just left. Stained, sticky, falling apart. I asked my husband if we should go, but he wanted the meal he had come for. We ordered our food and waited. His meal came out burnt black and my grill chicken came out... rubbery. Hard to chew as if fatty or under cooked, and the cheese on my plate wasn't melted. It just sat on the corner as if they used a spoon to scoop out some white ice cream and plopped it onto my chicken. I wanted to tell the waitress but she never came back. I looked to the front counter and no one was there... So we tried to eat. My husband is now feeling sick, and I am happy I didn't finish my meal.

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on here. A lot of these problems could be solved by just asking the waiting staff politely for some assistance. I'm a regular here, and the staff at this place is always very accommodating of a single or duo dining group. Courteous service and timely visits, I highly doubt anyone would be disappointed eating here. Food is great (not 5 star chefs but for a mexican restaurant it is very good).

I would ask to fill out a form in house just to express my happiness with this place... but google reviews is all I could do at the time.

100% will be back weekly to grab one of their freshly made margaritas and some chips...

This place was HORRIBLE!!! It took forever to get waited on. Then, when our food was brought out it took another 10 minutes to get our forks and napkins brought to us. The food was the worst I have ever had. I was all so bland..no taste to it at all. The waiter never came back by to see if we needed anything. I paid the bill and left no tip (with me the tip depends on your service). He had the nerve to keep asking me over and over if I was gonna leave cash on the table. I told him I didnt think it deserved a tip. Never again will I walk in this horrible place. As we was leaving I saw the health department had given them a B rating. It should...
