Infinite Collectibles — Local services in Paducah

Made the mistake of “just stopping by” Infinite Collectibles again. Spoiler alert: I didn’t leave empty-handed. Talked with Alex for a bit—super knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. Ended up grabbing a copy of Pokémon Sapphire and some Base Set Pokémon cards that practically tackled me with nostalgia.

Sure, I could’ve ordered graded versions online and paid twice as much for plastic cases—but where’s the adventure in that? Finding this stuff in the wild, flipping through stacks, hearing people geek out over everything from Pokémon to Batman—that’s the good stuff.

Infinite Collectibles isn’t just a store—it’s where your inner 10-year-old goes to blow your adult paycheck. No regrets.

I’m leaving my original review in place, but with an unfortunate caveat: if you’re planning to sell items here, be prepared to be significantly undercut. I would not recommend selling to this shop.

I recently brought in a few Pokémon games and was offered an extremely low price. When I questioned it, I was told the market had “come down quite a bit.” Only after showing current sold listings on eBay did they agree to offer me more. To make matters worse, one of the games I was selling back had actually been purchased from the store just two months earlier — at the time of purchase, I was assured the cartridge battery had been replaced. When I returned to sell it, however, I was told the battery needed replacing and that this would lower the value of their offer.

In hindsight, my initial review was probably overzealous. I wanted to support a local business, but after a few transactions, I can only say this: it’s a place to buy retro games and collectibles. Nothing more, nothing less. Not particularly great, and not any different from...

EDIT: I now am 14 instead of 13 and would like to write a competent review lol (This is from the perspective of a game collector) Excellent store with great people. It's always clean, and any time a game/console is sold above what it's worth, chances are they'll lower upon asking* *WITH PROOF, OF COURSE Fun to walk around, see, and nerd/geek out in this goldmine for collectors. Overall, 10/10 on all fronts. It feels less like employees selling you things, and more like trading games and systems with friends.

Another year, another edit. I've been here once this year, and it's still the best game store I've ever been to. We bought a PS Vita, and got everything we needed for it quite a bit lower than what Price Charting says it's worth. Looks great and works perfectly. I cannot overstate how good this store is for game collecting. I can't say anything on the side of comic collecting, but if it's anything like the game side, this store is the best place for collectors. Amazing Store with Incredible Staff!

This collectibles store is an absolute gem! The selection of items is fantastic, with something for every collector, whether you’re into vintage finds, rare treasures, or modern memorabilia. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff.

The employees are genuinely kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and help you find exactly what you’re looking for (or even discover something you didn’t know you needed!).
