I have never written a positive or negative review about a restaurant but I feel this time it is necessary. Service was ok.. she was lovely and nice but about 7 mins or more into our meal we had no napkins or silverware, as a server I understand she might have been busy.. however when we asked the on duty women manager she seem irritated that we asked for the necessities while eating. She then brought over one set of silverware and two napkins for four people. The food was terrible. I mean straight up AWFUL. Fries were soggy and cold, bread was soggy and the ribs were straight from Sysco... I mean really LOW quality meat. When the server came over it was expressed that the ribs shouldn’t be recommended. After this the manger came over and had a HORRIBLE attitude, blatantly rude. She asked if my friend wanted it remade or she would take it off. We didn’t want it remade and she didn’t take it off. He ate two ribs out of two racks and watching him struggle to rip the meat of the bones was enough in itself for me. All four of us work in the service industry and know how a manger should conduct themselves with unsatisfied customers.. if she handled the situation differently this establishment wouldn’t have left such a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning EVER and I will not recommended the restaurant to anyone.. in fact I will be going out of my way to tell others not to go. In a small town it’s important to give good customer service. If you want in a returning customers you treat them kindly and with respect in a situation like this. They Collectively need to do...
Read moreI am beyond disappointed with the service and quality of food I reviewed this morning from the Pagosa location. Now I completely understand this location is short staffed but what I experienced this morning was completely unacceptable. The hour we were there my husband didn’t get the water he asked for, when our food came the order was not what we ordered. The two Spanish cowboy skillets were the same, hash browns with scrambled eggs and less jalapeño. The skillets didn’t not have chorizo(the waiter explained after we waited about 15 minutes to get their attention, that the new distributor is now giving them a “new” chorizo, this was not chorizo but sausage with a seasoning on it) there were 2 small pieces of chopped jalapeño, no sour cream and no green onions, we didn’t get our toast and jam, and my daughters pancake wasn’t served with syrup… the waiter explained the reasoning behind the mishap and stated she would take the two skillets off the order. After waiting another 10 minutes for the skillets I asked where our food was, she stated if we wanted the skillets back. At this point it had already been an hour wait and the two others we just about finished with their food. My food was taken from me so I didn’t have to pay?? The issue wasn’t rectified… I guarantee that was our last visit to this...
Read moreWow. I don’t usually write reviews but this just needs to be shared. Easily the worst food experience I’ve ever had, and I didn’t even dine-in. It was my first time ordering food here, after hearing so many good reviews I was excited. I ordered the cowboy skillet, it was suppose to have a “cowboy portion” of hash browns, chorizo, jalapeños, two eggs, cheese, sour cream, and green onion. Enjoy the picture attached, it might make you laugh. So that sucked. I also ordered a salad for my friend and they neglected to include dressing. I checked that at least before leaving, went back inside to ask for some and they said they were out. So they allowed me to order a salad where dressing is pretty essential, without informing me they were out of dressing. I’m not usual a Karen about bad experiences because I’ve worked in customer service practically my whole life. But this is just baffling. I also left a 20% tip for takeout. I feel like I got...
