Wyndam Pagosa Elk Run — Hotel in Four Corners States

In all the locations we've traveled to using our timeshare, this is one of the best. The rooms are laid out in such a way that you don't hear your neighbor; ours was a one-bedroom apartment with a private patio and a view of the golf course and mountains. There are amenities if you want them, such as a pool gym, and fitness classes. There are also craft classes you can attend. They have on site small stocked lakes to practice your fly fishing, walking and bike paths, and family outdoor activity areas.

Practically speaking, the kitchen was adequately stocked with pots and pans and appliances. Our room had a washer dryer, which comes in handy when you're out hiking during the day and come back to your room dirty.

There is a golf course within the resort area however I didn't see anyone playing on it and we didn't bring our club so I can't tell you how good or bad the course is, but it looks well maintained.

There are several scenic drives in the area that are just beautiful, and things to do in Durango an hour to the west and in an hour and a half to the east you can be at Great Sand Dunes National Park.

When we got there despite a confirmation number and name the front desk still needed a printed confirmation which were eventually able to print out on paper despite showing them the same confirmation in our email. So that started out badly... But they made up for it by upgrading our room. The room was pretty cool. It was a full condo with kitchen, living room and 3 bedrooms and a hot spring tub. Very nice. I have been coming to Wyndam my whole life,I have stayed in most of the different homes. Elk Run is absolutely stunning, the outside looks like a basic little cabin but the inside is 3 beautiful floors. The kitchen living area with a gas burning fireplace and wrap around porch, the next a basic bed and bath, and the bottom floor has a large master bedroom with a two person Jacuzzi tub.
