McDonald's — Restaurant in Painesville

This McDonald’s used to actually operate well. Not more recently!!! Every time we have stopped for a shamrock shake in the month of March, their shake machine has been down. Almost an entire month now that we have went there this is the case.

I placed an order on the app Where I was able to choose extra sauces from the condiments. I picked up my order through the drive thru. During this time, I interacted with 3 employees. One at the speaker, one at the first window, and one at the second window. Not one of them bothered to inform me that my order was missing 3 of the sauces I ordered since the app doesn’t “charge” you for the extra sauce. I pulled back around and went inside to ask for my sauce. The employee told me that they don’t give them to you for that reason. I did get annoyed and made a statement that it would be nice if they told you that. Sure, it may be an app “flaw” but I was referring to the 3 employees I had interaction with since picking up my order. This employees response was that she doesn’t “control the app”. Sure that may be true but I really don’t think it would be too much to ask that instead of just not including the items I ordered and saying nothing about it, they could have let me know while I was picking up so I could pay for the items that I clearly had placed with my order. Instead of taking responsibility for that, blame is redirected to make it seem it’s solely the “apps fault” for this shortcoming. Extremely annoyed with...

Just an update. This McDonald’s is still terrible. Except now they have gone from messing orders up, to outright theft. They fail to give you things you ordered. Don’t give you a receipt. Then when you go back to get it, tell you with no receipt there’s nothing they can do. They just get to keep your money. You get no product. Do yourselves a favor. Go to literally any other McDonald’s.

I came thru drive thru and ordered a Big Mac on a regular bun. I even confirmed with the girl at drive thru I wanted everything else. Just on a regular bun. When I got home, the order was wrong. It had nothing besides meat, cheese and Mac sauce. When my girlfriend called to tell them it was wrong. We were told thats what I asked for and therefore thats what I got. When I said it was not she said the kitchen staff had a fit about it because of what I asked for. I was then called ignorant and refused a corrected sandwich. I was the. Called ignorant again. The ticket on the sandwich even shows Big Mac sub regular bun. Showing exactly what I ordered.

It was fast, and I’m fairly certain it was food. So I don’t suppose the sign was false advertising. The Hash Brown was $1.90. After days of research, 3 bunsen burners, 14 graduated cylinders, 1 electron microscope, 1 homemade particle accelerator, 2 photometers, 5 condensers, 1 centrifuge, and 4 lab rats later, (I only used 3 of the lab rats, so the leftover rat, named Larry, became my assistant). We came to the tragic conclusion, that the amount of actual “Hash” used in the ingredients, is equal to absolute zero.

Also, we would like to bring to everyone’s attention, that the item was not brown at all. We determined the color to be somewhere between the color shades of amber and saffron. However, Larry and I will not have conclusive data on the actual color, as we are awaiting a new photometer to help ensure definitive results regarding the color, as well as the hue, tint, tone and shade.
