I decided to try this Popeyes because it is much closer to where I live and it is new to our location. I ordered the 9-piece diner, all dark. The woman at the counter, place the order and told the kitchen staff legs and thighs. I waited and the order was filled. I took it home and when I open the box, it was not what I wanted. I went back and notice the young lady that ordered her food before I had, was back as well. Her problem, no chicken? Really? Anyway, back to my issue. The woman who took my order must have remembered me and ask what was wrong. I told her it's not all dark meat. She opens the box, took a look and told the staff to replace it. She also said for me to keep the chicken. The girl who put the order together walks over to the other woman said something so the order taker opens the box again to take another look. Tells me that "Sir there is only one breast.", Yes and I said, "I don't like wings either" and there was a lot of wings in that box. Now there is attitude! The woman walks away to help another customer at the drive-up window. Comes back and grabs the chicken and walks away to toss it in the trash! I could understand short on help because the order taker of whom I believe is the manager of this store, was getting overwhelmed because I do not think they can handle a food rush. Cars backed up. People waiting to place their order. Kitchen staff look as if they did not want to be there. I'm afraid this store may not stay open too much longer! Sad!
Update - 02l23/2023 I thought to give this establishment another try. Well, the staff her seem to know their job. not like the last bunch I was very, very disappointed once again with the food. I decided to try their chicken wings, so I ordered the parm garlic as well as the chicken tenders and fries to go. The food came out in good time, may be because the place wasn't too busy. I took my order and went home. I could not wait to try the chicken wings. I almost flipped! It was not what was ordered! I took a bite and my month was on fire! I think it was a mistake and they tried to cover it up with the par garlic dressing! Now moving on to the chicken tenders. I opened the box and what I seen looked like fried crumble up chicken skins! It crackled like kettle potato chips! that's how hard they were! Lets not forget the fries. I ask the counter person to give me fresh French fries. I open that box and behold, they must have be scraped from the bottom! They were not what I ask for. They always say 3 strikes it's over! I will not go a third time! The stars stay as the are! ...
Read moreThe manager or young lady named Jen/Jennifer maybe working the drive thru at approx 8:30pm on 3/18 is the perfect definition of horrible customer service and should not be leading any team in customer service. I arrived to the drive thru at 8:30pm the restaurant closes at 11pm. Upon placing my order she responds and tells me she can’t give me what I wanted. She could only mix my order. Ok cool. I proceed again with my order and again she tells me an item that I want is not available but I’m looking at it on the menu. I asked her why and she replies with a nasty attitude “we just don’t sell it”. During this short conversation she wasn’t polite nor did she make any effort to try and accommodate me. Finally I drove off. As I’m driving away you can see her laughing hysterically in the window which I didn’t get because the restaurant had just lost a customer trying to patronize your business. I then called the store and asked to speak with the manager when the same young lady answered the phone and pretended she couldn’t hear me once she realized who I was. As I’m telling her the issue I had with the service and why I drove away she proceeds to say “I guess I could have told you it would take 30 minutes for me to drop what you ordered” because I didn’t want any spicy chicken. I told her it would have been nice if she had even given me the option when I was in line seeing as how they didn’t close until 11pm. And then she goes on to scream in the phone multiple times “I’m sorry sir” before I just had enough. This is my second horrible visit in two trips. I rather just drive to Hanover where the service is better even though it’s farther. She definitely does not need to be leading in your establishment....
Read moreThis location only: This is the closest Popeyes to my office, and 3 times I have went, the lobby has been closed with workers inside. The drive-through had people, but I went elsewhere.
Today, again, they were closed and people said the drive through was fine. Placed my order, got in line, waited 10 minutes, then 2 people come out saying they are closed. We asked why they took our app orders, their response was "were closed." Asked how to get a refund, their response was "were closed."
After telling the automated support system that the place is closed, support promptly told me that I should go up to the workers ask someone about the status of my order. I repeated that the location is closed, and got asked if there was anything else support can help with.
I eventually was able to get a coupon code (that conveniently I didn't receive until I paid for my order at another Popeyes location, paying for my lunch twice). All of this took up my entire lunch hour, so even though I eventually got my food, I didn't get to eat lunch today.
