Smoothie King — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I wanted this place to be great so bad, but they continually miss the mark! I stopped by today, and there was a poorly made sign on the drive-thru order screen saying "closed for 30 minutes, sorry" and this was at 6:45pm. At the same time 2 racecar looking cars pull up like whoever was working was more concerned about cars than their jobs. Not to mentioned the broken/fallen down fence that has been on the ground nearly blocking the drive-thru lane for at least a month now. And we've brought our 3 year old in before to order, the kids working the counter were swearing left and right. Anytime we've gone, the employees are anything but welcoming. The owner clearly does not care about this establishment, and you can't even use the "contact us" feature on the website. Does not even deserve a 1...

I should have known to not go to this location. The smoothing king in mount prospect is 1000x better. I ordered online for the this location for a 12:30 pick up. Showed up at 12:35 and the door to the lobby is locked. No sign or anything saying to just use the drive through for pick up orders. I’m sitting in the drive through lane for what now is about 10 minutes and there are 3 days ahead of me. I honestly would just leave but I already paid 8 dollars for my smoothie through the Mobil app.

I wish I could build this Smoothie King in my house. So all my guest who visit can experience Cloud 9 like I have. First things first, the ambiance and customer service was beyond amazing. I felt like Bruce Wayne and I had my very own personal Alfred. Secondly, the quality of smoothie was that perfect texture where it wasn't to thick to the point where it gets stuck in the straw, or to thin where it taste watery. The perfect texture feeling like your face touches that soft hotel pillow. If i could give 7 Stars I would, hands down we are...
