TJ O'Brien's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I left my card on Saturday before closing time and came back at 1:50am to get my card and sign off my bill. They did not let me in whatsoever and said I needed to come back the next day bc “they closed the registers” well don’t state on your store that you close at 2am then! Anyways I work early the next day and I’m out of town and have spoken that I was going to pick up my card sometime this week. Keep in mind they had already charged my card for my original tab $27 since i checked my bank so i basically did not owe anything. I still didn’t even check if they charged me right but whatever. A few Days later I got charged AGAIN a different amount on my card of $32. So I got charged two separate charges when I’ve only been there once! When I spoke to the lady on the phone her excuse was “well they added tip so the servers could get paid” that’s totally illegal to add tip without my consent or me signing anything. Anyways they still committed fraud of doing another transaction even though I didn’t not come in a second...

I came in here with a friend who didn’t have an id and he was Indian and didn’t consume alcohol. It was mid day and got terrible service from the bar tender and she treated me very poorly thinking I was slinging him shots on the side. I tried to let her know he does not drink it’s against his religion, can he sit here and watch the game with us? And she said yes. We were with other friends and she continued to investigate me and hunt me down, whilst they treated the regulars with a ton of respect… not coming...

I'll never go back to this place again. Door man/ bartender can't even recognize a real ID lol. Carded us at the door. Im well over 21. And he insists our ID was fake 🤣 He was rude and tried to over compensate for his lack of intelligence. No thanks. We were here a few weeks ago and didnt even get carded.
