Bamboo — Restaurant in Palatka

I can't agree with the previous posters complaining about this restaurant. Firstly, it's pretty hard to complain about a place where you can buy enough food for your whole family to have dinner for $20-$25. Secondly, I've never found the people to be rude. That being said, cultures are different and the place is usually pretty busy so if the people working there weren't sugary-sweet-southern-hospitality to you, then I think it's understandable. Also, working in the service industry isn't always sunshine in rainbows, so I tend to let people pass on this at times. Lastly, and this is coming from someone who's been living in Asia for the last 4 years, the food is pretty damn good and consistent. In fact, I'd say it's easily the best Chinese...

Horrible horrible place. First ordered out food to get home and find out order is messed up. How to you mistake white rice for brown rice. They don't know the difference between chow mein and lo mein apperently. Also can't understand how to to make it with out cabbage. And when you give it back to them because it was made incorrectly they throw a hissy fit throwing food around. Food over all was poor quality rice wasn't cooked correctly. Sweet and sour sause was watery, steam dumplings are maybe only 10% meat rest is noodle. For what they charge for everything id expect the order to be 1 hot 2 correct. I had to re pay for a order they messed up 2 times and walked out after they messed up my order the second time.

Ignore the negative reviews left behind by the so called 'Local guides' From what I've dug up they're about as culturally adapt as a moron reading a People magazine.

The food is always consistently delicious, though proportions are somewhat small. However the price is amazing considering what all you can dine on for only $20.

The people are too the point and may come off brash, but it's more of a cultural difference rather than them just being 'rude.'
