To provide a summary: It's alright, but I wouldn't eat there again, and I wouldn't recommend my friends go there unless they want a messy, greasy burger.
My family went here for the first time today after being recommended by my brothers for the past month or so. Overall, it was mediocre for the price. $47.53.
Parking was very good, but it's not because the parking itself was good, but because the business model seems to cater towards take-out and delivery more than dining in.
The bathrooms were clean, which is more than I can say about a lot of places. There was theming, slices of wood with a polyurethane-esque coating. Nothing substantial, but it doesn't have to be, most people will either take-out or get delivery options.
There were 2 tv's and both were tuned into Fox which so happened to be airing Trump giving a speech. If you want to have news on tv, at least put on a channel that didn't have multiple defamation cases lobbied against them and lost.
The food was problematic and where most of the weighting to my review comes from. My wife ordered the mushroom bacon burger with loaded fries, my daughter got chicken tenders, and I got the crispy fish sandwich.
My wife was disappointed. She said the burger was too greasy and lacked flavor. She could barely bite through the bacon. The loaded fries were out of balance. Too much cheese, not enough sauce, the grilled chicken adds a weird texture and might be better fried. You're not going migthere for the health, so ht as well. She said she would have preferred to get Mr. JayBee's instead for the loaded fries.
The chicken tenders looked to be pretty standard for what most places serve, no real complaints, but no praises either.
Before I comment about the fish sandwich, I know many will say or think, "Why buy fish from a burger place? Of course, it wouldn't be good." To that I say, why have fish on the menu if you don't care to make it good. The fish tasted like it was a frozen, prepackaged, fillet. It was likely one fillet that was cut in half, because it was cut into two slices.
It would have been cool to see them carry the vegan patties that have been in conversation, or at least create a bean patty. It's a burger joint, and having those options would be themed with their business model.
If you like Woodland Burgers, then you like it, and there isn't anything wrong with that. I just don't think it's particularly exceptional as is suggested or typically reviewed. It's a couple steps above McDonald's because the topping options are available, but the substance, the burgers are lacking. If you want the burger with options, just go to Chile's. You'll spend about the same and the quality will be more consistent.
The cool thing is a "large soda" is a massive cup, so at least...

I was WOWed by this place, and this may be the best burger YET??!
From the minute I walked in there I was greeted by the very friendly staff and totally beautiful praise music, and when the food arrived I was VERY impressed by the flavor and quality! The burger was cooked with love, and the seasoned hand-pressed tender-not-chewy perfect beef patty was surrounded top and bottom with all sorts of goodies……… but here’s a little factoid about this place - the burgers do NOT come with onions, but when asked they happily added them for free - completing an otherwise already perfect burger! They have MANY burgers to choose from, and besides burgers they have wings, chicken sandwiches, a fish sandwich……… and an amazing number of side items, which include their incredible breaded mushrooms!
Sadly no WiFi (Xfinity ONLY), and for a small business such as this I won’t count this against them. Also it appears they do have drive-thru service as well.
They have GREAT sweet tea, and they DO have free refills for their tea and soft drinks, and a big huge PLUS is they have nice big styrofoam cups! This will assure a nice cold drink without the sweaty rings of wetness every time you sit the cup down. Before I forget, their root beer is great also!
An easy FIVE STARS for this wonderful little place and it’s friendly crew, and I’m looking forward to my next visit to try out their chicken sandwich and...
Read moreBesides the "crowds" for being a new burger place in town, the food was amazingly FRESH, service & staff were very personable & friendly, and the wait actually wasn't that long. Only reason I didn't give full 5 stars is because they were letting patrons scoop ice out of a bucket (should've been one staff member with gloves) & the guy taking the orders put in a 10 PC fried mushroom instead of the mushroom burger (ranch house burger). However, he also put in a ranch house burger, so all was good in the end when food arrived, and their ranch for the mushrooms was homemade and delicious! Prices are actually much lower than most places for the amount of food you get. Their menu is extensive and includes 12 different flavors of wings. We got 2 burger meals w/fries and drinks (except I passed on the drinks, but still paid for meals 😉)---the Applewood Bacon cheeseburger (2 huge pieces of thick Applewood bacon), the ranch house cheeseburger (had 2 huge pieces of bacon and FRESH sliced mushrooms with provolone), plus the fried mushrooms (standard frozen, not bad though) and the total was approximately $28. That's a really good price! This will definitely be our go-to place for burgers...
