Strange atmosphere. Looks like they just moved in but I guess it's been here for a while. I decided to eat anyway because of other reviews. Some of the food was Luke warm others was a bit warmer or spotted with cold/warm spots Asked if there was sushi included in the buffet and the lady at the front said yes and handed me a menu with names and said which one would you like. I said and this is included? She said yes again. I told her one I usually get at other places and she put it in. It came out and was ok. 3 stars. Then because I thought it was included and asked at this point 3 times if it was included I put in one more. This one was 1 star. She comes up when we are about done and hands me a new bill with the two sushi added on. I asked I thought you said it was included and she said no I never said that. At first I thought I mixed her up with a different person but no it was her. I had her take the 2nd one off as I only ate 1 of the pieces. She 100% was calling me a liar and I feel cheated. I had high hopes from the reviews. I probably would have still bought a sushi if she had said no but the fact that she said yes and then make a huge deal about it is insane.
I also asked for a supervisor and she told me there is no super or manager and that no one person is in charge....
Read moreWhen I moved to Palatka from a larger less rural city I figured my near me Sushi days were over. Then I discovered Leo's Fine Sushi. A restaurant devided into two distinct sides. One side is a traditional buffet with fresh hot and delicious choices while the other side features a large Sushi bar with tables and Leo. His staff is friendly and helpful and he and his wife have been here for 12 years. Leo is not only friendly, he is also excellent at providing his guests a rewarding dining experience. Hanging on the wall, boards list specials and there is different events daily such as a Kareoke night. Beer choices are perfect and then there is the Sushi. I'm hard to please and a Sushi counisurrier with a delicate palate. Leo doesn't fail at providing a wonderful menu of choices that would please any Sushi lover. Fresh Sushi that delights and brings about a pleasurable experience. The Sushi is amazing along with the atmosphere. Leo is engaging and makes the experience at his restaurant a definite place to go. My hats off to him and kudos for the gift of Leo's Fine...

We ordered 4 different kinds of rolls & shared them. Our favorite was the tuna & mango. I ordered California & peppered tuna that are always great. I forgot the other kind she ordered. The Merlot although out of a Franzia box about which I was very dubious was actually really good. Our waitress was patient, fun, joked with us and felt more like a friend. But to top it off Leo has karaoke and sings some himself with his heart in it. There was a group of young people there who took turns singing and they were so much fun. The sushi is freshly made, prices are good & I couldn't finish all mine. We asked them to carry some nigori-zake, the coarsely filtered sake served cold, since they only had the hot filtered kind. What a fun place and you can get take-out. It was so much fun I forgot to take pictures but I'll get...
