I was craving for some hot and spicy malatang this past weekend and I stumbled upon this new restaurant. There aren't many places that serve authentic malatang-how they make it in Korea nowadays. You get to choose all the toppings you want in your tang including veggies, meats, fish cake, noodles, and seafood. They weigh the amount and price it by pound. They then cook it in the mala stew back in the kitchen. We got the medium spicy level and it was just right We also got an order of lamb skewers. It was our first visit, and we ordered the spicy dry pot and some BBQ. The BBQ was delicious, but the spicy dry pot didn’t quite meet my expectations. Ingredient bar is not as expansive as some places, but it had all of our favorite items the quality and cleanliness more than made up for this. We tried the dry malatang and the soup malatang - both had great flavor. The mild dry malatang was pretty spicy. The soup spice levels were much more toned down. Guobaruo was amazing.
