I used to love this place years ago when I lived in bergen. I agree this place is the best in regards to coffee.
Idk if its just me, but they charge me different price whenever i go there for milktea.
First of all the menu says the milktea is $5 something. Im a milktea lover and get one everyday once or twice. I live in central Jersey and visit pal pak area about once a week or two, and this is what happened since I started to get milktea from Cafe Mocha.
It was busy and had some lines behind me so I didnt say anything when the worker charged me 7 dollars for a cup of milk tea (no different size, i asked) when I have two eyes to see that its 5 something right behind the worker.
There were couple more times I visited for the same thing. I dont remember exactly how much, but i remember it was much cheaper.
One time I asked if they could put bubble in the milk tea latte. The worker asked the other worker and they made it for me. This time they seemed to charge the right price with the bubble. I got this milktea with bubble like one more time after this day.
AND Yesterday. I went there to pick up milktea latte with bubble for me and my friend. I ordered to the guy who seems to be the manager/owner of the place. He said he cant put bubble in the milktea. I said i got it couple times before. He was like "i wonder who made it". I told him that since they dont have milk tea latte bubble in the menu, he can charge me extra for the bubble. Then he charged me $17 for 2 milktea lol. I asked how much it is for the milk tea. He said $7 something when i can see on the menu behind him that says milktea latte is $5 somethin.
Ok. $7 something for a cup of milk tea full of ice. This im ok. What i dont understand is how they can charge the customers different prices for the same drink. I think what he shouldve done was to explain why it was 7 something and how much the bubble was.
Very disappointing. It doenst really matter how much. Diffrent prices each...

Many of bubble tea flavors are unavailable. I would give it 5 if only for shaved ice bingsoo. —- Ordered iced coffee, bubble tea, walnut pastries, regular kimbap, and spicy tuna kimbap. I was given deli manju instead of walnut pastries. Drove back to the store for an exchange. I was told that they rung up deli manju instead of walnut pastries and I need to pay $1 for the exchange. For their mistake I had to waste time and gas. And they want $1! I asked for the refund I was so upset. And when I came home to eat the kimbap. A strand of hair from regular one and a clump of hair from the spicy tuna. Literally a clump! I couldn’t even pull the hair out of my mouth. I had to spit the entire sliced piece to find the clump of hair hanging out. Gross!!!!! Completely grossed out. Wear hair net when preparing your food! I question your sanitary food prep policy. I used to love this place for the shaved ice. But today was one of the worst experience I had. ...
Read moreIt was a very shady experience. A hot 16 oz latte was $6.58. It wasn't even a specialty drink or good, it was a very mediocre latte with terrible service.
The prices were hidden on the board and only revealed at the cash register. By that point, I had waited for the line and there were people behind me, so I purchased it anyways. When I went to pay for the drink with my credit card, the woman at the counter said that there is a $10 minimum for card, but that if I wanted to use my card she could do it for another $1. That's pretty crazy. Luckily I had some cash on me, but that's a crazy hike up in case someone didn't happen to have cash and just wanted a simple drink under $10.
I later asked the woman at the counter how much a latte is, since I was suspicious of her potentially jacking up the price, and she confirmed it was $6.58 by checking the cash register. I shared my thoughts that they need to transparently show the prices on the board, to which she shrugged and rolled her eyes.
The tables were very dirty as well and I had to wipe them down.
Overall, pretty disappointed and would not recommend. There are better options nearby for...
