First time trying since new management. I got chirashi lunch special, and an avocado salad. Price was great deal! Should cost more to be honest, maybe 1 or 2 more $. The highlight of my meal was this seared pepper crusted salmon that was included in the chirashi. It tasted really amazing, and was really special compared to the other fish slices. I noticed there wasn’t shrimp tempura included, which I am fine with because there was some scallop and tamago instead. The scallop was smooth and chew easy. Delicious. The ginger dressing was also a highlight for me. Wonderful flavor, and unlike other places where the bright ginger flavor is masked with sugars, the different flavors did not overpower each other. The dressing was seasoned nicely, with a good balance of sweet/acid/ginger. I really enjoyed this meal, and I will absolutely order it again next week. If you haven’t tried this place recently, you have to give it another chance. It is completely different than it was before.

update So I’ve had the chirashi bowl 3 more times since this review. The assortment of fish is a little bit different every time, but the quality is just on point. Their consistency is important. And I’m not lying about their ginger dressing.. best ginger dressing I’ve had and I really mean that. Notice in the picture that the chef scores the squid so it’s more tender. It’s this attention to detail combined with his respect for the quality of the ingredients he has that keeps me coming back every time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. It was Mother's Day and I ordered a sushi sashimi tray on their website and went to the store at the time my confirmation receipt said it would be ready. When I arrive the lady there tells me that they "already cancelled my order because it was Mother's Day and they had a lot of orders." I was never made aware by call or text that my order was cancelled, she tells me to come up to the screen to show me that my payment will not go through as if that is going to solve the problem. If they could not take the order then they should have sent a message so I would know instead of waiting 45 minutes and arriving just to see my order is not there. I'm sure if it were another place, they would have at least tried to be accommodating since this was their mistake. My mom also talked to them and they were rude to her. This was my first time ordering and what a terrible first impression!! There are plenty of good sushi places in this area that will give good platters and better service so my advice is don't waste your time...

I heard about this spot under new management in Pal Park from a friend, so decided to check it out. First, want to make it clear that this is not a eat-in type of restaurant. You can either call in or order in person for take-out/pick up. Owners were extremely friendly to me on the phone, recommending certain platters for my group setting, and I was greeted with a smile as I walked into the store to pick up my order. Menu is pretty extensive and offers a wide variety for sushi and rolls. They offer something for everyone, whether you're trying to get lunch for yourself, or large platters for sharing with family, catering events, company gatherings, etc. Prices are very reasonable compared to the quantity of food I received, and the quality is good for this part of town. We ordered the Family Lg Tray and a few specialty rolls and appetizers, and it was more than enough to feed a group of 6.
