We came here this past Saturday around 4:30pm for an early dinner, and it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had at this restaurant. We used to be regulars for jjajangmyun and tang su yuk, but the food quality has dropped drastically, the flavors were off, and the new dishes we tried were equally poor.

The bigger issue, however, was at the end. After bringing us the check, the server took our card, only to come back and demand cash because their POS system was “down.” No notice beforehand, no apology, just insistence that we had to pay cash. On a busy weekend dinner time, it is very suspicious that a restaurant’s card system would suddenly not work. Were they telling all customers the same thing, or just the ones seated in the back where no one else could see?

They even offered a 5% discount if we paid in cash, which only made it feel more questionable. The server refused to check if the machine was actually working and kept demanding cash until we were forced to pool together enough bills to cover the meal. This is not how a legitimate business should operate.

If this is their new way of running things, customers should be very wary. Not only has the food gone downhill, but now you can’t even rely on being able to pay by card. We won’t be returning, and others should think twice before dining here unless they’re prepared to bring cash and accept...

If you are craving Korea-Chinese cuisine (aka Joong-sik) you won’t regret eating here. The place was pretty packed when I visited on Saturday 5/25 and this popularity speaks volumes.

Tang-soo-yook (fried pork or beef) was excellent as advertised. I have no problem admitting as the best fried pork in NJ. It was fried to perfection and the sauce was very flavorful. But there are other Korean-Chinese cuisine restaurants in the area who can bang out the fried pork at similarly excellent level at slightly lower price.

Now the staple : jjajangmyun aka black-bean noodle. It was excellent and I agree with many YouTubers who claim this as the best jjanjangmyun in NJ. The noodle was perfectly cooked that yielded ideal chewy texture. The sauce was uniquely blended with squid! I wasn’t too thrilled with the portion size, but the quality was more than solid.

Looks like the final bill is about 10-15% more than typical Chinese-Korean restaurants in the area. Especially when you are charged with the merchant fee of 3.3+% for paying with credit card. I totally understand why they are doing it, but I wasn’t thrilled by it. But my overall dining experience is excellent despite these...

I was looking forward to trying this place after noticing it while in the area. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to even try the food. I walked in and greeted them with very friendly hello. No real response. I then asked about delivery, the huge sign in the window that states Free Delivery, and the response was rude to say the least "No Delivery". I just ignored it and then asked for a take out menu. The lady behind the counter was so rude and dismissive. It didn't appear they wanted my business and I certainly will oblige them. To wrap it up, they were not busy. There was one cusotmer being checked out. I am quite certain that there are other places that would gladly provide decent customer service for a...

Life is short. F…..it up! Family, Flavor, Friends Was passing through town and decided to try out this long-standing place in the neighborhood. This place is known for Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong. Reading the reviews they bashed the mandoo.. tried them and thought they are savory and cooked perfectly- plenty of stuffing and flavor. Just wanted to set the story right. Jajang had the good homestyle flavor plenty of onions and what is expected. The jam bong definitely had a spice kick noodles were good but missing the umami flavor. Got the seafood and rice - good portion - sauce needs more seasoning. Tang-soo-yook was good plenty of sauce for dipping. Dabooki- fried shrimp was massive tasted good maybe a lil too much batter.

The algorithm of my Instagram recommended this restaurant, and one of my friends also agreed that Jjajangmyen was the best among NJ restaurants. Frankly, I thought Te Min Quan was so much overpriced. Also the amount of food was too small even for me. We ordered several dishes again and again because we felt so empty after eating some. Overall, I didn't like their noodles or sauce so much. I would rather go to Hannam Mart or H Mart because it's much cheaper and more delicious there. The parking is also more convenient at the supermarket.
