I will likely continue returning to the bigger and better quality restaurant found on Dairy Road.
I tried ordering ahead to pick up my order when I was near the area after work. I didn't want to use a delivery service like DoorDash and spend even more money. There were two options that popped up online, Order Now or Schedule for Later. I couldn't select the second option at all throughout the entire day. The order now said all day that the order would be an hour. After I ordered online, I got a receipt that said the order would be ready in an hour. Good. I needed to make a few quick store runs anyway.
I'm on the way to a store about 20-30 minutes later when I get a call. The number on caller ID makes no sense as it comes up as +11321... Sounds like a Spam number if it's using two 1's at front. Goes to voicemail and I listen. I had to listen to it twice to figure out Beef's called to tell me the order was ready. The girl spoke so fast it was hard to understand her.
Now I did appreciate Beef's calling me again and telling me order was ready. What I don't appreciate is the worker not mentioning the whole side of their building parking is roped off/unusable and I'll have better luck finding parking a few rows down in front of Publix. That was an irritating walk.
I was greeted promptly but felt bad the worker talked to me first instead of the lady and kid clearly standing ahead of me. I had no idea if they had been helped or not. When I mentioned the online ordering issues, she made it sound like that was normal behavior. I can go online to Papa John's and schedule specifically when I pick up a carryout. If you're not going to offer that, then take it off your online options.
My husband liked his wings and curly fries. My chicken wraps felt a bit too greasy and the chicken was so tough it was hard tearing pieces apart when I bit into it. I also got chunks of chicken caught in my teeth so bad I had to get up and floss. I've never had a chicken wrap, including those from fast food places, be that hard to eat into. The baked potato was okay.
Overall I've had better experiences at Dairy Road and better chicken wraps at...
Read moreI ordered online at 6:30pm. I went at 7:30ish. Knowing I was a little early. Well there was nowhere to park, my order was curbside. So I parked and went in. Asked if my order was ready, I was told no and they didn’t know how long it would be because they were busy. I said fine and took my ticket and went back home. Thinking I would get an email saying my order was done. Well another hour passed without an email, so we went up there again. Went inside, so our food miraculously was done after 2 hours. We asked to see the food, to see if it was fresh. It wasn’t, we asked for fresh food. The owner’s wife argued and said fine wait 30min. So we did. Then she came back with our food and another bag. We thought it was fresh so we didn’t ask to look. For our troubles she gave us food that was 3 hours old, we just said thanks and went home. We got home, our food was the same as when we asked to look at it. The cheese was melted and caked on hard like. Like when you cook a burger and put it in the fridge to eat it later and the cheese is no longer fresh. Our potatoes were over cooked and not fresh, our buns were hard. I email 3x, no answer. I called the location March 18, 2021 in the afternoon and spoke to the manager; they took my name and number and said the owner was to call me back. I waited till March 19, 2021 to call them again. The owner Dave answered, I told him what happened, he said, “the food was in fact fresh”, I said no sir it was not. He then said, “I won’t argue because I was the cook, I can refund you.” I said ok that’s fine. He asked for my address, I said what do you need that for, he said,”well you want a refund right.?” I said oh yes, then he cut me off saying can I have your phone number or I can look at the ticket,” I said no I have been waiting almost two days, he said, “well we are short so I.” Then I cut him off and tried to give my number and said you are rude. He said, “well since you said that I am being rude you won’t be getting a refund.” He continued to say “and you can email corporate because you did that didn’t you and you can tell them the owner said.” I hung up. I was not going to be...
Read moreIf I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Thinking I would like to get better food than fast food for dinner tonight since I was in a rush, I figured I'd give Beef o Brady's Bayside a try. My to go order bill was almost $60! That was for 2 burgers, some fries, fried pickles,a shrimp dinner (haha!) and a chicken Caesar salad. I ordered Chili for my side, my daughter ordered zucchini. Neither of which was still available when I got there. I had to get fries instead as nothing else that was left to sub my chili was appealing. I did get the charge for the chili reversed. I didn't even know about the zucchini until I started checking my order before I left. My daughter's "shrimp dinner" was literally 8 small shrimp and a tiny bit of broccoli florets spilling into each other. Remind you, she ordered zucchini. I called over one of the staff to question why it was so messy, the wrong vegetable and a that it was such a small portion. She proceeded to tell me they ran out of zucchini so they were just putting broccoli in the dinners. Each container I popped open all looked a mess. I then mentioned I just rather have a refund at that point and I would go somewhere else. The associate then guilted me and said something like "oh c'mon in these times". So I guess in these times we should accept getting ripped off. She did throw on a free order of 4 chicken nuggets and fries and a couple cups of vanilla ice cream. I reluctantly accepted and left with the food. After getting home, I was severely disappointed to find the almost $12.00 burgers ordered were flavorless not seasoned frozen patties you can buy in the frozen food department at your local grocery store. They were dry,the fries were bland, the chicken Caesar salad chicken is dry and chewy and the only thing good I received was the fried pickles. Oh and the complimentary 4 chicken nuggets were a chewy , dry version of the Mcnugget. My kids were so disappointed also. My son had asked for Burger King earlier. Boy I wish I would have gone with his...
