Checkers — Restaurant in Palm Bay

Checkers are normally and reasonably good but today,this place was different. All I asked for was simply 2 orders of the 2 for $3.00 spicy chicken sandwiches$6.00 right? And 2 orders of the 5 for $5.00- ($10. more correct?) So he said my total was 20.21...I got to the windows and told him t hats not correct,we went over what he rang up and he agreed with me but didn't know why it was ringing up so high. So he calls a manager older lady over,she gets all pissy mouthed and said the cars were backing up and she didn't like that shit,she had a sack full of stuff to go out the window on the other side and didn't have time for that shit.??!! 🤔 hello! My concern is just as important to me as the next person is to Her! The young guy who originally rang it up had said he always rang it up that way and hadn't had any problems 😉, hello,watch your stuff people. Mine had been rang up all separately which came up to 20.21 instead of $16.00 plus tax... they had asked me what dips I wanted with the $5.deals,I simply answered honey mustard on one and ranch on the other please. So the manager ?? If it was a manager,said that the dips were the 2.00 extra...but I said I didn't ask for any extras only one each that goes with the meal. She rudely said for me to drive around again so they could get the lines down,again,why should My time be interrupted because of their incompetence? I didn't say that but I was prepared to,they ended up charging me $16.00 and sending me away without my drinks,I had to back up and get the cokes. There were nobody behind me yet so that was easy enough,I asked if everything was on the bags,YES!..I Left and found no dips for the Chicken bites on the 2 orders of 5 for 5 and not one napkin or ketchup.Hello,this is a takeout only place...which usually means you're going to eat driving or some other place ,other than home !! Train these people ,if you want to stay open!! It was like 2pm ,they weren't...

This place seems like it's TRYING to go out of business, how dysfunctional the staff was at trying to figure out how to ring up our order using a QR code coupon they emailed me after taking a survey that would get us a free sandwich with drink purchase and we were purchasing 2 more sandwiches, but somehow the system wasn't letting the coupon through and it went through 4 different staff members, they scanned, entered the 12 or so digit code number at least twice and asked me for my phone number multiple times. After about the 4th time, I actually wrote down my phone number with my daughter's crayon on a sheet of paper and no one has the authority to override a dumb malfunction in the system there and just give me the deal. A poor gentleman waiting behind us finally left after a long wait and none of the staff could figure it out, or cared about keeping the business with customers. OMG, this is the most dysfunctional business I've come across since moving to the area recently. The worst of it was, that our little family of 3 was severely "hangry" (hunger+anger), though I was completely polite and cordial to them the whole time, but made it clear that this was embarrassing for us all, and a complete waste of time! To say the least, we will never try to eat there again. Our order was actually ready before they could figure it out, but instead of giving it to us or starting a new order for just the amount owed or anything, they probably scarfed it all down like fat cows and didn't care to lose the business of 3 adults, in the least. Come on, Checkers, you've gotta do better than that to keep...

All right so this is follow up to the first review I just kind of swing by the checkers again just to see and again before 5:30 p.m. the place is closed down again so this is going to become a game until they can figure out what in the world's going on I will be contacting the better Business bureau in the morning over the situation because this is unacceptable...Unfortunately for a business that just reopened after they gutted the place and put all of this time and money into remodeling and reopening I have nothing but bad things to say about this place and I hate to have to give it a one star. The staff that I have talked to has been friendly that's if they have staff there they seem to have to close every day early because they don't have the staff to run the company. I ordered a milkshake when they first opened and the cream or the milk was already sour since then every single time that I go there's a note on the drive-thru or on the window that says closed today went through and there was a staff member standing outside just telling people as they pulled in that they were closed so until they can get their act together stay far away from this...
