TLDR Best vegan bang for your $$, sure this is not "cheap" but it is a great value! Don't compare fried/garbage vegan (non organic, etc) to this No pix from the usual food, only brunch when I actually take some pix
I had to come back and update my review. We are now regulars here and have tried many different vegan places and they almost all suck, are not organic, pricier than here , etc..
If you comment that this is pricey: It is all organic and generally good ingredients Find another sit down vegan restaurant that serves actual dishes, not only fried stuff, burgers, impossible meat, etc... -- Check out my other reviews (not mentioning names here) and you will see we paid more than here at other places and the food was basic at best.
Do they have issues at times? Yes! But they are professional about it, give you a discount depending on what the issue was. Now that is not very often, but sure it happens.
We have eaten almost everything on the menu and I can say almost all dishes are great. I'd agree the tacos are overpriced but all else is great value. Recommend crab cakes with broccoli & cesar salad veggie burger (made there no patty), avocado, and the pesto sandwich Pizza: Gluten free option has no flavor in the crust, so if you can skip and go for regular. Sausage or BBQ are good so is avocado It can be a bit too soft at times so tell them prior to making it The french dip is great, bit pricey but worth it , make sure to dunk it properly. Brunch: Bottomless mimosas are actual OJ and tend to have enough alcohol if that matters to you. Take the waffles they are awesome, so is the breakfast scramble and the sandwich (be it beyond meat patty here) is really good as well. Protein star smoothie is great as well...
Anyway, if you do not like something tell them, chances are they will handle it professionally and provide a discount/new item.
The only other one we went to but now closed that was intricate with dishes was Plant (not planta) in Miami , but they were indeed super expensive. All that to say, best vegan bang for your buck!!
Ok old review below for transparency, back then I gave them 4* So let me preface, not a vegan but just trying to find some alternatives. While the menu is limited we did find some things to order. BBQ pizza Onbe was of the sandwiches lemon and another piece of pie
So lets start Piza really good with the jackfruit and all together pretty tasty. Eaten lots of vegetable pizzas before but most are just bland and not very interseting. This was new and tastes really well. I guess it was a 12" for $22. Now you could say this is expensive, but then look at Grimaldis.. They are pretty stingy with topings yet are not cheap either. Does it taste better? Well depends I honestly prefer this now over the greasy pizza i liked before, and the basic with just basil is well too basic.
Give it a try
Sandwich was really good with the cole slaw The desserts: now they were also good but those I would consider to be overpriced at $12 a pop, but since they do not make it there it seems it makes sense. Will skip those next time but if you looking for something sweet after then I can recommend.
Went for pickup and like the separate pickup place vs waiting in the restaurant like most/all other places.
Is it the best? Well I do not know, only the second vegan/plant based resturant and from those two definitely the best.
Limited menu, but for once in a while and picking things that make sense I do think you get...
Read moreI ordered food from this restaurant on DoorDash under the name, Sims, which is what I go by. And I got the veggie burger. It somehow changed the way I looked at meat a little bit. I just ate it and I feel great. And I feel like I ate something healthy and even though I was full, it didn’t linger. I was a culinary student. A French culinary student to be exact and graduated working fine Dining for about seven years. So this is kind of a big deal because I know that fish and Vegetables go through the stomach, much faster and more efficiently then fish, chicken also makes me feel even more Full for a longer period of time than seafood, and any other meat above that, like red meats, make me feel full and uncomfortable, and I can’t even enjoy a movie. My stomach is just as full, but not uncomfortable. Also, I should definitely mention that I could tell those were heirloom tomatoes. By the way they tasted, huge plus I could eat that raw. The homemade pickles weren’t too sour like regular pickles. Even though I love pickles. Not a huge cucumber guy, but it didn’t taste like cucumber slices. That also kind of changed the way I looked at the whole pickling process of their housemaid pickles. And finally the “meat”. For being a vegetarian dish and I’m not a vegetarian, kind of made me consider being one for many reasons. Mostly, to feel refreshed. Now I want to go to this restaurant or even take a date there and tell her that I’m not a vegetarian but maybe I’ll become one. I am definitely going to tell everyone about this place and I never leave reviews I know a lot of people say that, but I really don’t leave a lot of reviews. You can look at my history. That was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and it didn’t even have ground beef in it. I have an idea of what was in it, but I don’t everything that was in it, but I would like to. For real, I’m going to remember how delicious this was because when I first ordered it, I didn’t even know it was vegetarian until I kept reading the menu and I said why not? Also to anybody who’s not a vegetarian or is newly vegetarian and regular burgers are the only thing you know, don’t press down on The outside bun too hard when you’re holding it, vegetarian patties, no matter how good they are still have to be held softly while you’re eating it or else they could mush down, you don’t want that in a delicious meal like this. Just remember how to eat it and cheers guys, that was amazing. I’m happy I ordered from you guys so much and I can’t wait to Go eat there and meet everybody. I want to know what I should try next honestl. Man, I can’t say it enough that was delicious and worth...
Read moreChristopher's Kitchen truly delivers some of the best vegan food in the area — absolutely worth the drive up from Broward. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional, both in flavor and hospitality.
We started with the BBQ Jackfruit Nachos, which set the tone for the entire meal. Made with housemade corn chips, smoky BBQ jackfruit, creamy cashew queso, sour cream, avocado, pico de gallo, and scallions — this dish is layered, bold, and totally crave-worthy. The BBQ sauce really brings everything together — I already wish I had asked for extra.
Next up were the Walnut Tacos, which were the hands-down favorite at the table. Served in these incredibly uniquely made “shells” with seasoned walnut meat, avocado, greens, and chipotle crema, these tacos are light, flavorful, and incredibly unique. The shells give a fresh, crunchy twist that makes them feel both healthy and indulgent. You can even order just one taco as an appetizer — which I highly recommend if you want to try several dishes without missing this gem.
The Caesar + Crab Cake was another standout. The chickpea-based crab cake was golden, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with crisp romaine and creamy vegan Caesar dressing. It’s a flavorful, elevated take on a classic that really shines.
We also ordered the Mac & Cheese, a comforting and creamy blend of gluten-free macaroni in cashew cheese sauce, topped with crispy breadcrumbs. It’s rich, warm, and the perfect plant-based take on a comfort food staple.
Lastly, we had the Tuna Sandwich with a side of housemade slaw. The chickpea “tuna” salad was spot on — tangy, satisfying, and served between sprouted grain bread. The staff even divided it into three portions for us to share — a thoughtful and accommodating gesture that stood out.
A huge part of what made our visit so memorable was Big Mike. His hospitality is unmatched — warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate. He made us feel like family and truly adds so much to the Christopher’s experience. He’s an incredible host and a major asset to the restaurant.
The location itself is beautifully set up with free, easy parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and a range of offerings that go beyond the dining room. There’s a beautiful wine bar in the back, a full juice and alcohol bar, a grab-and-go section for quick bites or take-home goodies, and a fully stocked vegan bakery filled with tasty treats.
Christopher’s Kitchen is a true gem — vibrant, fresh, and full of heart. Every dish we tried was delicious, and I already can’t...
