We came here today for Mother's Day. Look I understand that a day like today can get hectic and very crowded.... BUT with that being said, we and everyone else are paying lots of money. Our bill was over $400 and the manager in the coral colored long sleeved shirt blouse was SUPER rude to us from the beginning! 3 people from out group arrived a little early (God forbid people get there early) because traveling with our grandma can take a bit of time so they wanted to be early. Well the manager kept pestering them because the whole party wasn't there. Mind you, our reservation was at 9:30am and they sat at about 9:15-9:20am. The manager came over multiple times to tell them he would have to move them if the rest of the party didn't arrive... There were barely any people in the place! The rest of us arrived at 9:45am the latest. Now fast forward to the end... we were enjoying ourselves and the manager came over and was sooooo rude immediately telling us he waited for us to all arrive for an HOUR AND A HALF. That is not true! And he said there was a group waiting for two hours for our table. We didn't by it. He could've come over and spoken to us NICELY but he did not. So he rushed us before we could even pay and we were waiting for the waitress to come over to give it to us but she never came. Then once we were rushed out, the manager became frazzled because he had to get our checks and it's like dude we could've done this in a calm manner if you weren't such a jerk about it. We are understanding people and would've been more than happy to start getting up but the way he spoke to us was nasty. Did he forget we were about to spend a WHOLE LOT of money??? Oh and let me mention the weird and inappropriate photographer who made weird comments to us. Old man who are taking pictures of women should really be supervised. I'm going to remind you that our party spent over $400. This is a lot of money to be...
Read moreWaitress greeted the table behind My girlfriend and I did not go over any features did not welcome us didn’t clear our appetizer plates in time while speaking with her about food, she argued with the Waitress at the table next to us Saying that’s my table which could’ve been done after us. 2 waters and All we had was calamari, Which was overly fried the marinara sauce was tiny in a plastic to go container. We ordered a fish catch of the day and a Greek salad. Both un edible. The catch of the day rice and beans were cold. We asked for it hot please and 10 seconds later there it is same dish heated up maybe in microwave. The fish had a smell the salad was soggy.I asked for the manager the manager was really nice. Apologize asked if we wanted anything else we said no brought the check over he comped the whole check which was really nice of him being that we only had calamari I left four dollar tip that we ordered a $19 calamari, and the service was subpar the waitress Followed us as we were exiting and asked was everything good with the service? ? Told her everything had gone wrong and she says well. This is how I make my living . try harder than. Apparently she has no clue what she did wrong and expected me to pay 20 percent of food we didn’t eat. Someone really needs to show and teach her proper steps of service and never asked guest that on the way out. Very unfortunate I was t going to write this review but that was icing on the cake for me. Very unprofessional to do. I wouldn’t go back for being by marina should have more variety of fresh fish. It all taste very bland. Green beans bland. Rice and beans no flavor , the breading no flavor. As I was walking g out couldn’t help but notice everyone’s plate and eveythibg looked low quality...
Read moreWe've been going to the Sailfish Marina restaurant for years. It's a bit of a drive for us, so usually for "special" occasions. The food has always been very good. Today, Saturday, February 27th, 2021 (at about 12:30 - 1pm)... not so much. They were off their game. Not just a little.
The waitress was clearly having a bad day. We had to ask for silverware. She returned and tossed them (3 set-ups) on the corner of the table rather than place them at each place setting.
It took at least 15 minutes for my wife to get her cocktail drink (before the meal).
The food came quite delayed, and was not hot. It was obvious the food had been sitting for a long time in the kitchen. My wife and I both got fish. I got a blackened Mahi sandwich, which I've had before and enjoyed. It was barely lukewarm and DRY. Very very dry. My wife's salmon wedge salad... also barely warm.
The waitress also forgot to bring a side of ranch dressing for my sandwich (requested at the time of order) and had to be asked after my cold sandwich had arrived.
We had to ask for salt & pepper for my daughter's chicken tenders and fries.
She also never returned to fill empty drinks once the food was (finally) served.
Honestly... after YEARS of going there, I can't say we'll be back. None of us could finish our meals. The server finally showed up and asked if we'd like dessert. Ummmmm... no. (And, we've had some great desserts there in the past.) Today was clearly not the day to have dessert, if the main course was any indication.
The positive: We got a great table by the window with...
