This must have been the best Christmas/Anniversary dinner we have ever experienced. It was our 30th Anniversary and Christmas Night and La Goulue made it the night of our lives!
Our service staff was beyond attentive and our Team, led by Evely and Jose, were the most professional, five star talent, oozing with incredible excellence.
The food, oh my gosh, the bread alone is to weep for, warm, crusty and deliciously addictive.
To begin, we had Beef Carpaccio and Escargot as appetizers. A Big Wow. Wonderful!
Then we shared "a fresh, right from the ocean" Shrimp Cocktail over ice with dual sauces. Sensational!
Our entrees were The Christmas Specialty, Medium Rare Rack of Lamb and I enjoyed the perfect Medium Rare Filet Mignon. Magnifique! By the way, I loved the French Fries on the side, felt like a kid again savoring every bite.
Ultimately the presentation, the flavor of the food and temperatures were flawless. The Chef and his staff deserve a standing ovation.
La Goulue nailed it on the most difficult of dining Days, Christmas Night.
A group of special folks need to be acknowledged. They are the Valet parking Team out front, who are all perfectly efficient, sexy and very professional, they even remembered my name when we were leaving.
I truly also love the Hostesses, who understandably have the most difficult job of all, through thick and thin, are patient, very friendly, each constantly smiling in the ever present "danger zone" of "Where's my table?!
This was our first visit to La Goulue and I have to say, that for a couple of hours, we were magically transformed from Palm Beach to Paris, France for this scrumptious experience. We will definitely...

It all started on a balmy Palm Beach evening. I walked into La Goulue feeling like a mildly stressed raccoon in heels, but left floating down Worth Avenue like a retired Parisian heiress with a secret trust fund. đđ„đž
From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was in a French rom-com directed by Wes Andersonâchic, dramatic, and lightly buttered. The maĂźtre dâ greeted me like an old friend from the Riviera (even though Iâm from Boca), and I immediately blacked out from aesthetic overload. The lighting? Moody romance. The bread? Crispy serotonin. The waiter? A walking cologne advertisement with menu knowledge that made me question my life choices. đ€đšâđłâ€ïž
I ordered the duck Ă lâorange because my soul whispered âtreat yoâself,â and let me tell you: that duck didnât die in vain. I cried a little. Actual tear. It was like someone slow-danced on my tongue wearing Chanel boots.
Then came dessert. Ohhh la la. CrĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e that cracked like an expensive scandal, followed by a moment of silence so intense, a man at the next table whispered, âAmen.â đđ„đź
The only danger here is that I now expect every meal to come with this level of ambiance and existential joy. I tried to recreate the feeling at home with a baguette and a scented candleâdidnât work.
In conclusion: La Goulue isnât just a restaurantâitâs a portal to your most sophisticated alter ego. Youâll leave feeling like your passport just got stamped âFABULOUS.â đ„đ«đ·

Read moreFirst time visit. Wife's birthday, and I told them when I made the reservation. The atmosphere and ambiance was definitely French. Being a chef, I am aware how foods should be prepared...at least, to my (and my wife's) satisfaction. The flatbread with carpaccio was limp and tasteless. It should have been crispier. The argula was difficult to find...should have been on top of the meat. The spinach side dish was tasteless and bland. The duck leg confit was mediocre....should offer thinly sliced duck breast. However, the "salad" and croutons that accompanied duck was delicious. Our friend had the tenderloin. His response was the meat was bland...the "sauce" gave it some taste. I felt the wine list could have included some California reds. While the French wines were from a few years ago and, I guess, "good" years, the price points were a bit high. Lastly, while our water glasses were filled constantly by some of the caring wait staff, no one came by to ask us about our meals...to which, we would have given our honest assessment. However, we weren't given an opportunity. We also thought that my wife was going to be treated to a dessert. She was given 4 tasteless cookies. If anyone had bother to check on us....and they weren't too busy....I would not have had to write such a wordy review. Again, a French restaurant it is....thus only French wines and, perhaps, the lack of attentiveness. This was...
