Bob Evans — Restaurant in Palm Coast

Extremely sad and disappointing I grew up in Ohio close to the Bob Evans Farm. This particular restaurant is horribly mismanaged I stopped in there the other day for lunch I don't know if it was a manager or what the situation was she was extremely loud and obnoxious at the window trying to get food out when the staff had it taken care of she kept on screaming at the staff and telling them how much she had to go to the restroom instead of just walking to the restroom she continued to be extremely obnoxious again she appeared to be a manager but it also could have been a make a wish type situation for someone with severe special needs. It took over an hour to get my food they were somewhat busy but not nearly as busy as you would think to have to wait that long. After waiting that long that's the last thing you want to do is sit and listen to an extremely obnoxious so-called manager screaming and yelling at her staff extremely unprofessional this particular woman should be horribly embarrassed for herself. Got there about 7:15pm they chose at 8pm. When we arrive a family of 5. The server proceeds to tell us they close at 8pm. We said ok no problem. We're immediately seated. Then wait 10 minutes for her to come get our drink order. Only 3 tables in the restaurant. Another 10 minutes to bring our drinks. Then tells us again we close at 8pm. Brings food out at 7:45pm corrects the mistake on my daughters food. Then brings the check asks if we need anything else. I asked for a refill for my husband's drink. She said I can bring you a to go cup. Sure we said. As we're still eating. My children were not offered the dessert that comes with their kids meal. Even when ordered in the beginning of the meal. Then I got myself a to go box. As she didn't come back with the drink until after we had finished tells us again they close at 8pm. Ok I get it you close at 8pm. It was 7:15pm when we arrived. I have dined here several times and had few complaints. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 27 years. I get how it works. But closing at 8pm and leaving at 8pm are not the same thing. Original Facebook Review 11/2016 First my online order for take out didn't go through. No big deal. The person running take out did not provide plasticware. If someone orders pot roast and salad this seems like the logical thing to do. Especially when I was wearing a logo for a business they share the plaza with. Food was great though.

Update: 7/02/2017 My online order did go through this time. However, nobody knew about it. So instead of being able to walk in pick up my food and leave I was there an extra 10 mins waiting on my order to be completed. Then the lady acted like she was doing me a huge favor because the cooks made me a salad the was "not a side salad" and she wasn't going to charge me. And despite it being EXTREMELY obvious I had a salad I got back to my workplace to discover NO UTENSILS....AGAIN. I did not leave a tip and I will not be ordering from their carry out...
