How can I even begin to explain the absolute train wreck of an experience my family and I had here tonight??? To say that I am upset is an understatement. My family came here and we were blatantly ignored and disregarded despite being PAYING customers. Could it be because we were the only Hispanic family in the restaurant with kids? I’d like to think not because it’s 2023 but let’s be honest, I am almost 100% certain that was the case.
We arrived and asked for a table for three plus a high chair.. after about 20 minutes we were seated and I once again asked the hostess for a high chair. She looked at us and walked away, no sign of a high chair. The server came, we again asked for a high chair. Still no chair. Asked the server a second time about 20 minutes later when we finally got water and she stated she didn’t think they had high chairs, I informed her that the high chairs were behind the hostess. Still no high chair.
Finally after another few minutes I walked over and grabbed my own high chair for my daughter after about 30 minutes total waiting for a high chair.
We ordered drinks, they took well over 20 minutes to come out. No bread was brought to us nor was any silverware or napkins.
We asked a bus girl for silverware and napkins twice, she did not being any over.
After an hour and 15 minutes our food came out, all we ordered was ONE pizza and a salad…. still no silverware or napkins despite repeatedly asking for it. Starting to use baby wipes from my diaper bag at this point.
We finally asked a large man who I found out is the OWNERS SON, for silverware. He stated he would bring it.
Later on he came by again and we asked him once again for the silverware. He stated he thinks he has some in the back and will bring it out. Ten minutes go by and still no silverware. Yet he was attentive to every other table of white women and men. Bringing things quickly to everyone else.
Over 45 minutes without seeing our server. I finally got up and requested a manager, I was directed to a woman with glasses and black ponytail. I voiced my concerns and she did nothing at all. She listened and walked away.
Eventually the server brought silverware, after us being seated for an hour and half. And they finally brought some bread.
I had to get up and request that they come and refill our water because it sat empty for 30 minutes while everyone else was getting refills.
I’m only giving one star because it won’t let me give zero. HORRENDOUS is an understatement.
At the end of the meal we got our tab and still paid the full price of our meal despite the horrible experience.
Steer clear of this place if you have children and if you aren’t white. Steer clear if you aren’t well dressed. They won’t serve you nor will they attend you the same way as the other tables. Absolutely horrendous.
The absolute cherry on top of the night was the fact that the very own owners son was inattentive and didn’t even come to our table after the complaints at all....
Read moreAbsolutely delicious Italian food. My wife and I found this place while in town for a concert and gave it a try. It was a stifling 116 degrees and as we poured our way through the door looking for relief from the heat. The place is tucked away in a corner of nice little shopping center. The staff is friendly and the place is cleananf kempt (minus a fidgety front door 😆) with an Italian/sports bar feel. It presents itself as an Italian place without all the stuffiness one might expect from a "high-end" place. The menu was pretty big with what seemed like a lot of authentic Italian dishes. I settled for the homemade beef short rib ravioli and my wife got the tried and true chicken parmesan while starting with some garlic flatbread. I'll be honest, I was concerned because sometimes when local restaurants claim everything is homemade, it can be difficult to live up to that promise, especially when the place isn't super busy, which this place wasnt, on a Friday night at 5 pm. The flatbread came out and within just a few minutes it was gone. Remarkably flaky dough, thin and crispy but soft with just the right touch of garlic and butter. It was absolutely delicious and it makes me regret not getting a pizza if that's similar to how the crust is. My ravioli was fresh, had amazing flavor and perfectly cooked vegetables. My wife's chicken parmesan was exactly the same. The food was so good! Great flavors with an obvious nod to being homemade and authentic as they didn't taste as one-dimensional like typical american-italian places we are used to. We aren't in this area often, but will for sure go back just to deep dive into that menu. If your in the area, you need to give this place a go, the food...
Read moreWe went to meet our Grandma and decided to go out for Dinner. I started looking what's near by and found this Italian place. This is a really nice Italian place. The decor is very nice and the place is very welcoming. We were a party of 10 and were seated right away. It was weekday night so they were not that packed but still plenty of people there were enjoying their food. We tired few different things from calamari to garlic flat bread. Calamari was good and same with the flat bread but somehow we missed the garlic flavor/taste. The main course were good too. We ordered few Pizza and they were all good. A different style with thin crust but not that crisp. I liked it. Then came time for deserts and we had few. They were all good. The price is good and not too expensive. The service was really good and we were there till they were almost closed. It got a little chilly in the end but the entire experience was good. I wish they were closer where we live but this will be our goto place once we visit Grandma again. They had a full bar and wine selection looked good. We didn't tried any of the alcohol. Its not too far from the 10 freeway exit. Plenty of free parking at just a...
