Saved by the 3-course special and the chicken livers. Don't really think it's worth it to get any of the a la carte dishes, as it is quite expensive and not really great. The pork loin was on the dry side of things and was only palatable with the sauce. Same goes for the beef goulash as the beef was very dry and kinda tough - obviously low quality beef with no marbling whatsoever. I get that it's a stew, but when you're paying $25+ for the dish... The Italian style chicken livers were fantastic and packed with flavor, and better yet, part of the 3 course special. The salad with the special was nicely balanced with acidity and richness. The dessert that came with the special ended up being the strudel, which was quite different compared to many others I've had before. The apples were so caramelized that they had lost all structure and apple-y taste. Not my thing, but others might like it. There's also live performance every night, so if that's your thing then that's some extra...

If there was a negative option for the star rating there would be one. Not only was my family unable to locate the front door, there was a cold and gloomy vibe infesting the place. Our table failed to receive refills on drinks and bread as did other tables. The “staff” didn’t appear to be expecting any customers. There was an hour long wait for our entrees. During that hour, we were abandoned and left to feed on salad and bread (if any). There appeared to be “locals” who were chatting it up with the “staff” including the big kahuna himself, chef George. The food however, was divine. I had the chicken breast with lemon butter and mashed potatoes. The portions were huge. To put it in perspective, the amount of free space available on my plate was about as short as the attention spans of the waitresses. Overall, the food was excellent but the service was...

A surprising find: Located in a nondescript shopping center: Almost hidden, with two entrances, one into a bar and nightclub, the other into a quiet restaurant. This is one of the most unique restaurants to be found in the Coachella Valley. Wonderful Hungarian and International Cuisine, well priced, interesting wines, with friendly warm service. This is a special restaurant due to its unique cuisine and character. Go, eat, drink, and enjoy. And if you want to dance, go through the first door to the bar/nightclub where the same menu is available along with...

OMG! We had so much fun here! If you were in the desert 30 years ago and remember what the nest used to be this is similar. The food is really, really good. And they always have live music in the Picasso side of the restaurant. People get up and sing and dance with the live music. The service is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait. The portions on some of the dishes are enough for two people. Always are sure you ask about specials, I had one of the best sea bass dishes I have had in a long time. I think this will become one of our local favorites!

Tonight I had an amazing dinner at Chef George's Restaurant. The light and love of the owner fills the room, and their food is absolutely incredible, must share the Greek salad while you sip on some Procceco and Malbec of course!😋😋😋 I had the Danish Chicken livers, and my friend the Chicken Picatta. For dessert we had The Homemade Hungarian Apple Strudel which is out of this world delicious. Please come and have the time of your life, and be patient if they are busy? You will forget everything when the food arrives.
