To Bad it doesn't let me put Zero stars!! Hours OPEN is from 8am to 8pm .... Today I arrive at 7:54am to the restaurant At 8am a man goes in and locks door again I thought he was the server and need to quickly set up... At 8:10 or so he comes out to car goes back in and Locks up again by this time I had called several times to place an Order and no one answers... I go on YELP! And they have online orders so I placed my order.. Waiting in my car at 8:35am the server Lady goes in and locks up again.. But im ok since I had placed my order at 8:45 I get off as Im walking to door I get a message that my order will be ready 15min after they open at 9:15 so that means by 9:30.. That is 1 hour and 30 min later... By this time Im at Door and girl is telling me its closed from behind the counter and i stay there and her excuse was that they were opening late because they didn't have anything PREP for the day yet! I've worked in Restaurants before and for all I Know Cooks don't arrive at the time It supposed to OPEN they go in at least 1 hour before even up to 3 hours when I worked at El Paseo... I said CANCEL MY ORDER ! She was like are you sure? I thought to my self are you kiding me you want me to wait 30 more minutes AI DONT THINk so.... And I left with a WE DON'T HAVE PREP READY YET!!! Well GET YOUR ASS AND YOUR COOKS ASS TO WORK EARLIER!! Just my Thought!!! ....(sorry if...

This place was an unexpected surprise! The food was authentic and awesome! My Chimichanga was the size of my head, and delicious! My husband had enchiladas. He loved them as well as the rice and beans. The best rice we have found since moving to the Coachella Valley from Colorado.

Update: we were so excited to go back to this restaurant, but our second experience wasn’t as great. We waited in line, but realized we could be seated and they would take our order as the line was not moving. Even asked the waitress. However, after we sat down the waitress proceeded to take the orders of the many people in line and never returned. We had to wait a very long time to get waited on and get out food. They definitely need more help. The food was good, but not as good as the first time. Especially as they got my husbands order wrong. But we’ll definitely give them another try when we’re in the area, but will order from the window before...

This is no five star Michelin restaurant but the food is AMAZING and the hot salsa is so good and hot! It’s unfortunate to read a review based not on food but rather not being able to use their facilities? This is a place of business not a public restroom, maybe stop at a gas station next time? We had a chorizo and machaca burrito this visit but we’ve had other items in the past and all were 🔥. Total hole in the wall near industrial businesses but if you know anything about good food, the best are hidden away or located in sketchy parts of town. This is good Mexican street vendor or hearty home-cooking food. This is the spot if you’re hungry and just...

Small quaint Mexican restaurant that is reasonably priced and taste good. My family of 6 enjoyed all that was ordered. Chips and salsa are not free but only cost $1 for a basket. Nice atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We liked the food so much, especially the flan, that we ate here once more the for dinner, and had the same experience as we did for lunch. Service was very good and attentive, like being served by a family member.

Came here while on vacation. I was looking for "real" Mexican food. This was the spot! Made ne feel like I was being fed by someone's abuela. The food and atmosphere was great. I had the fried fish which I turned into fish tacos and ny daughter had the birria tacos.

Excellent home style Mexican cooking. I tried birria tacos y consomé. That's shredded beef taco stewed in Chile stock and served with the stock on the side! Had bistec con papas. Great Mexican style sliced beef with potatoes.
