Doublz — Restaurant in Palmdale

This place stinks. Customer service gets a 0 and their ability to accurately prepare and hand out your order also recieves a 0. I visited this location today and made a simple order; my request no onions...easy right? Wrong. Note This is not the first time I have recieved my order incorrectly. This time, I did call and let them know my order was made incorrectly. The first employee a male was polite as can be even took my phone number and name to pass onto a supervisor. A few minutes later i recieved a call from a "right off the bat defensive individual named Alisa' . This character demanded I drive back 1 hour with the order so "she can prove to her cook that he put onion on my order." Whoa Whoa, right ?!?!!? I explained to her the request in itself was ridiculous. She then defensively said they dont give out free food and rambled about policies...I repeated myself and told her my motive for calling was only to let them know the order was inaccurate, I had not asked for anything I didn't even call with the intent to get anyone in any type of trouble... My call was simply "Hey you got my order wrong."

Last time I'm visiting this place, as kids we grow up eating at spots like this and perhaps it is the sentiment that we enjoy not really the food. This place is not worth the trouble.

Do yourself a favor and don't visit this place. A large number of places in the AV where you can get a decent meal minus the cheap attitude from individuals like Alisa

Look, I'm not Latino so take it for what it's worth. Their Mexican food is terrible. HOWEVER...Their chef's salad is packed and stacked and their club sandwich is really good. Their burgers are so tasty and so yum!! Fries are awesome and crispy, love the way they cut them. So many people love their chili cheese fries...but I think the fries turn to mush under the huge portion of chili and cheese. You will have to make up your own mind. I love their onion rings because the breading is light and tasty and the onions are still crisp but cooked right. Theor employees are amazing, they are so friendly, always willing to help and I always have a great experience there. I eat here 2 times a week. I just found some things they do really well and I get that. Explore their menu...find what you like and you will come back again...

UPDATE:

The second photo is from my visit today, 10/4/24. My burger buns looks old and thrown together. I asked to have it remade which they did, but the cooks continued to glare at me strangely as I ate and they laugh and talked amongst other the entire time. The whole experience was totally uncomfortable. I hoped things would be better this time around but obviously NOT. If I wasn't convinced before, I'm convinced now that this is not the place to eat no matter how desperately hungry I am. The review below is from a precious visit
