Tonight’s service was not good ! I don’t know if it was because of the language barrier or if the woman working in the light pink shirt tonight was just prejudiced, I had a medium size order , she acted rude like I was bothering her ! She scooped my first two ice creams , then when I told her I had three more cups to go she stared off and stopped responding to me , so I asked her if everything was okay and she rudely said I’m waiting for you to say your flavors , so I tell her my flavors and then my boyfriend ordered a mangonada he asked for three scoops at first but wanted to add a fourth scoop and she told him NO , and rudely started naming the three flavors that were already in his cup saying that’s all you can get , okay so we just let that slide and now on the last cup we wanted a mixed drink of strawberry and limonade, the woman made two cups and when My boyfriend explained in Spanish she looked at me and said , no you asked for two different drinks one strawberry and one limonade , when I told her no I asked for half n half she rolled her eyes at me , I asked her if she was having a bad day ?it made me feel embarrassed as others in line were looking and could tell she was having an attitude! La Michoacana ice cream parlor. Located east Palmdale California 93552. On the corner of 47th Street East in East Avenue r. Reviewed 3 - 12 - 21. I'm not guilty, to say that I simply love Palmdale. I have been here for 20 years and I've seen this place grow exponentially. One of the latest additions here is La Michoacana ice cream parlor. It has been here at least for a few years. And we really appreciate the fact that they took their time to consider us Palmdale residence and install one of their great businesses here. I understand that La Michoacana ice cream is international in that even in other states in Mexico oh, you will come across one of these greet ice cream parlors. For example I've been told by a girlfriend in Oaxaca Mexico that they also have La Michoacana ice cream. Okay then, you can get freshly made ice cream with real fruit inside. You can also get corn Colonel adorned with butter cheese in hot sauce in a cup known as esquite. But more importantly is the customer service. I gave it 2 stars and I’ll explain why. When we showed up it was not busy we were next but there seemed to only be two workers in the front. It took a while before they got to me. I finally got my 2 ice creams and payed. In the mean time my sister waited her turn and the place ended up packed. Then 2 ladies with a couple of kids stroll in and go straight to the register, she tell the worker what paletas she wants and she charges her, then worker number two comes over with a tray and about 8 paletas. I kid you not! With like 10 customers waiting all crowded in that little corner where the line is supposed to start. I was telling my daughter and sister if they saw that, the customer and the workers knew I was talking about them because they kept looking my way. I had to walk outside because I didn’t want to make a scene. It did bother me because all we were buying were paletas as well.
