Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Palmdale

This store used to be one of my favorite places to come, but honestly the enjoyment of shopping there has disappeared. The manager at this R and 47th location is extremely rude. She was checking my receipt and assumed I was stealing something so she made me do her job by finding the price tag on the purchased item and on the receipt for her. Secondly, when I lost my phone, I thought I set it down inside when I was trying to go through all my stuff to find the price tag for her. I asked her if she had seen me set it down and she intentionally ignored me. Disregarding my question, and proceeded to ask another employee if they had went on their break. She was extremely inconsiderate. Now today, I went inside looking for sweatpants. I wanted the green ones, but I noticed there was the same kind, same type, not damaged, just a different color for two dollars less. I pointed it out to the security guard and said if they were able to accommodate the price. They said even if it was the same exact one in different colors I have to pay the two dollars more… for the same exact thing just in a different color. It’s just ridiculous. Every time I go in there they look at me as if I am stealing something. Even have their employees follow me around the store. It’s extremely uncomfortable and honestly sad. I can’t see myself going back to...

I totally agree with all the previous reviews! Shopping at this location is really uncomfortable because of the employees follow you around making your shopping experience very unpleasant. I bet they do not dare to follow the real Thieves and they just follow paying customers. On top of this, the girl at the registers asked me to remove my items from hangers! It was only two items on hangers, the rest only require scanning and it wasn’t busy! Not sure if it’s a new policy but it’s definitely not my job to do what you are getting paid for. Not to mention that prices are getting higher and quality is declining. What happened to Great customer service in America? Shopping experience should be fun and smooth, I will not shop at this location anymore and will Spend my money elsewhere. You will be out of business soon with this...

To make an unfortunate long story short, I agree with the fellow comments regarding the racism at this store. Enrique from Loss Prevention intruded my personal space and tried to rip a purse out of my hand as I was shopping. When I tried to tell the manager Fabiola (who is a poor excuse for a manager) she also displayed unprofessional and racist behavior. There is absolutely no way either can deny their racist gestures toward me, I begin recording the incident the moment Enrique came into my personal space and tried to remove the purse from my hand. Once both of them noticed I was recording Enrique began to walk away and Fabiola ironically had nothing further to say, but the damage had already been done.

Corporate will have to take this matter...
