Wow, this feature couldn't have popped up at a better time... Thanks Google :) Now about the awful service, under cooked chicken & soggy salad just received. "Alondra" was the little girl working the drive thru window, that took my debit card, slides it then walks away for about 3 minutes, leaving her cash register open making a loud noise for a good 3 minutes ( PLEASE CHECK YOUR CAMERAS EL POLLO LOCO ) once her & another worker walks to the window handing me my food but no card, I refused to take the bags without receiving my card 1st. Alondra gives me attitude, stating "your card is over there being charged, what can I do with your card?" WOW!!! El Pollo Loco, I pray that this doesn't turn into another Starbucks event when the young lady takes a customer's card info... Finally I get my card after about 4 minutes, check my food at the window, now I'm missing pico de gallo, so now another minute or two goes by til Alondra comes back to the window, I let her know that I was missing salsa & I had asked for 4 pico de gallo at the speaker. Alondra goes off to the back & comes back with a large container of pico de gallo that has salsa dripping from all sides of it. WOW I refused to touch the container asking her to clean it, she wipes it's a little & hands it back to me with salsa still dripping from the sides, I refused to take it again letting her know that container was still leaking salsa, Alondra tells me she doesn't have time for this & that she's putting it in a bag. Please tell me who trained her, & who ever did should be fired right along with her. I've been a customer of this El Pollo Loco for over 5 years & by far this was the worst customer service & food I've ever received. Did they change management & now are just hiring anyone? The staff I've delt with in the past were excellent, & food amazing. I think I just came on a bad day, wasting $30 on undercooked cicken, soggy salad, & probably spit...
ย ย ย Read moreIโm absolutely thrilled to give PolloLoco a well-deserved 5-star review! I've been a loyal customer for quite some time now, and I must say, the consistency and quality of their food and service never cease to amaze me.
First and foremost, the fire-grilled chicken is truly the star of the show. It's always cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. I've tried it in various forms - as a bowl, in a salad, as a sandwich, and even as a quesadilla - and it never fails to impress.
But what really sets PolloLoco apart is the freshness and quality of their ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite, from the crisp, flavorful vegetables to the creamy, handmade sauces. And let's not forget the warm, crispy tortillas and the flavorful rice and beans - every component is carefully crafted to create a truly satisfying meal.
The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that every order is accurate and delivered with a smile. The atmosphere is vibrant and clean, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a casual dinner with friends.
I've tried several menu items, and I must say, each one is a winner. The Chicken Bowl is a classic, the Chicken Quesadilla is a game-changer, and the Chicken Salad is a refreshing twist. And don't even get me started on the specials - the limited-time offers are always creative and delicious!
In short, PolloLoco is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a foodie, a busy professional, or just someone who appreciates a good meal, PolloLoco is sure to become your new go-to spot. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten...

FYI - this review is for the branch on 47th/Avenue R, near the Target and Ross ( inside of the 47th Street Pavillion)
Unfortunately the service is way better from a distance; I usually order through uber eats, and everything is generally good. However, last night I walked in, and the customer service was awful. One lady threw her hands up as though I was dismissed as I was asking her a question about my order. She simply waved me off and walked away! The other staff just stood around looking, no one cared that I was visibly unsatisfied and was still standing there looking for answers as to why my food didn't resemble anything I had ordered. The man who originally had taken my order apologized, although I'm not sure if even that apology was sincere.
Then, when I looked at my food, I saw that my tacos were basically just dropped on the plate (which is why I did'nt recognize that they were actually tacos. It looked like a plate of sloppy nachos, ugh) and my toppings were all wasted on the sides. Unluckily for me, I had just struggled with a 3 hour walk, and I was starving, so I ate it. Once I got home I rushed to the bathroom where my insides exploded and expelled into the toilet. El Pollo Loco is one of my favorite places to eat, and I order from there often. Not anymore.......
