Food Bowl Chinese Fast Food — Restaurant in Palmdale

Being Chinese American and born in America I have developed a strange palate over the years of loving what I call "fake chinese food" ( it's not fake but it's just chinese fast food but is fake if you compare it to traditional chinese food).

This place has been my favorite and go to spot for the past 2 years since I moved out here. The food here is ridiculously good, proportions were (are) huge and the people there are super nice. However, the past few times I had stopped in the front house staff has changed and the proportion has gotten smaller. I wasnt sure how I felt about that when it first happened but I just knew that I don't want the short older Hispanic lady filling my to go box (I feel how you say short changed every time she fills my to go box).

So yesterday round 7pm I decided I'd go here again since the last time (probably 3-4 weeks ago). Something again has changed. The food didn't taste the same... The jalapeño chicken didn't taste the same.. seemed more bland, the orange chicken tasted soggy and bland... even the fried rice tasted bland. It was strange because on the sides the bottom stuff (which was probably the older stuff) tasted like how I remembered. However the newer stuff that was on top was super bland.

Not sure who at this establishment needs to hear this but, I hope they don't change the cook or their recipes. If it ain't broke...

Yuck. The food was such a huge disappointment. I ordered the combo A with all rice noodles and coconut shrimp(with an up charge BTW). While the container was packed full, and the employee was pleasant, I did notice after I got home that I had mostly noodles where the coconut shrimp I paid extra for was supposed to be. As if that wasn’t bad enough, as I’m eating I start to realize that the “shrimp” is also mixed with OLD chicken and pork. I don’t eat pork so needless to say I was pissed. I paid extra to be screwed. The noodles were super super greasy and whatever was mixed in with them made my already bad Psoriasis issues much worse, I’m inflamed and itchy AF today with my patches spreading at a rate I can’t keep up with. Do not eat here if you have food allergies because you truly do not know what you’ll be eating! Unacceptable and will not...

I have been coming here for many years with no problem. Now that they hire this new girl that worked there tonight that I had never seen she had a snooty attitude And was giving very small portions, and when I asked her to put extra and I'll pay the difference I asked for extra chicken instead she gave me more extra jalapeno and all she did was throw jalapenos on top and her reply was I won't be able to close the lid with a big attitude rolling her eyes in front of my child how rude was that. If she continues to work here, I will no longer come here again. I will also be notifying my family and friends about her. The food is great.
