Been wanting to post this for a while now. Finally got the chance. So I walk in the store at about 8:30pm one fine evening. I had about 4 games I was trying to trade in. As soon as the so-called manager saw me walk in with the games I saw a face. Then was met with "we can't take trade in's after 8:30pm. Then I asked if that was a policy? I asked where I can see this so called policy but the "manager couldn't point me to where this policy was displayed. Anywho after having to deal with this "manager" unprofessionalism I literally spent 10 minutes having to argue with her to take my business lol smh. After I negotiated with her that i only sell her 2 of my games and threatening to call corporate did she agree to take my games. If the real management is reading this please be sure to advise your employees that business must be conducted up until the time that closing time is posted. This happened about 2 months ago. It was a very...
Read moreWent to the store at 1 pm on a Monday and it was closed. There was a sign on the door that read "be right back". Waited a few minutes. Looked around and nothing. So I make my way to my car and I noticed the guy parked next to me was in the driver seat playing on his phone. I start backing out and tell my wife " I bet you anything that guy works at Gamestop ". As I'm backing out my wife said she saw him getting out of his car. I circle around and sure enough he opens the store. So this guy is sitting in his car right in front of the store and sees me and another customer standing in front of the store in disbelief that the store is closed in the middle of the day and doesn't say anything to us. Nothing like " oh I'm on my lunch break. I'll be with you in a few minutes ". Not a peep from him. Never going to this Gamestop ever again. Its because of employees, Gamestop will be bankrupt in...
Read moreThe only thing I can say about this place is it has horrible customer service. I went in late one night to get a game but because I didn't have my ID card they would not sell it to me. I am 24 and clearly not under aged. I have never been carded at a Gamestop which is why I had no ID with me. I was bothered by this, but decided to inform the employee that I would go home and get my ID. I did so and return to the store 2 minutes after they had closed, the employee would not let me in the door. This is not good customer service, refusing to help me ( a customer ) while being well aware that I had just gone through the trouble of coming to the store, then going all the way home and returning again. I will never do business with this location again. I understand the legally this was okay, but ethically it was wrong and no company should treat...
