Carrabba’s for years was my favorite restaurant. I would look forward all week to those family dinners out on Friday nights as a kid. However, since the shutdown, the quality at this one and the one in Allentown have dipped enough for Carrabba’s to lose that title. I realize I’m just one person, but the food, service, and atmosphere have lost their color and I think this is a pattern you’ll see in most restaurants nowadays. Carrabba’s is one of almost too many to name. It’s unfortunate for the owners because running a restaurant, charging more for your menu, paying more for employees and food, and somehow managing to make enough of a profit to not only reinvest in improving the whole operation but keep some for yourself are all more than difficult enough as it is. However, when the end result is a lower quality customer experience, ultimately no one wins, and again, Carrabba’s is NOT the only restaurant experiencing this. I guess the closest thing I have to that childhood experience other than spending twice as much at a different restaurant where many people might agree is going to the same Carrabbas’ I’m used to.

Excellent! Carrabba’s never fails to deliver a great meal. We visited for the Amore Monday 3 course meal and were very pleased with both food and service. Our waitress Savanna continuously checked on us throughout the meal making sure everything was to our liking and that we had our drink refilled. The 3 course meal was perfect and allowed you to choose either an appetizer or dessert, soup or salad and a main course. The meatball appetizer with ricotta were very good and would highly recommend this appetizer. All of the main courses we had, which included lasagna, sirloin steak, chicken Marsala and salmon were cooked perfectly and perfectly sized portions. The desserts topped off the meal which we had to give this Carrabba’s a five star. Tip: 😉 Carrabba’s also offers a take out catered menu which every year we order the Chicken Marsala for our Christmas Eve party. It is always a hit.

We attended the December Seven Fish Wine Pairing Dinner tonite for the first time. Priscilla, Easton location manager, phoned me at 230pm to ask if I still intended to attend the dinner and I confirmed my reservation even though weather forecast called for a snow squall. We arrived, were shown our seats and the magic began with Sarah, Olivia and Priscilla serving the 5 course dinner with wine. What a delightful selection of fishes and delicious white wines. From calamari to mussels, frutti di mare, scallops, shrimp, white fish, crusted grouper, accompanied by linguine, fresh green beans, lobster ravioli AND a cannoli. Whew! I searched for a 7 fish dinner locally and Carrabba's delivered one fine affair. Great execution of food choices prepared by kitchen staff!! We'll be back in January.!

Decided to go to the Easton location since I live in Bethlehem and it was closer. I sat at the bar because the restaurant and bar was not crowded at all. Waiter was friendly and asked me right away if I wanted something to drink. Asked for a water and a caffe latte which he said he did not know if the machine was working. He came back minutes later said it was not if I wanted a cappuccino instead I said sure, and if he had sugar in the raw he said yes. I got my cappuccino from another waitress that prepared it and never received my sugar and waited to see the waiter but didn't see him for about 5min. Next ordered my appetizer which was the ..Bread & Dipping Sauce Trio no complaints it was delicious if your a sauce and Italian bread person like me, Only thing was when I started to dig in I was looking for a napkin and the waiter never gave me any. Again waiting to see him I asked him for napkins and he gave me cocktails napkins. Like really!!! Soooo next I ordered my entrée the ..Tuscan-Grilled 7oz Sirilon comes with a cup of soup or salad 2 sides and if you want to upgrade you have to pay an additional $1- $2.50 depending on what your upgrade is. I choose garlic mashed potatoes and upgraded to Fettuccine Alfredo for $2.50. I asked for my steak medium well. When I received my food it didn't look bad it look good. Ready to dig into my entrée I'm looking around for my silverware thinking the waiter at some point put it in front of me knowing I ordered food, which that should be the first thing he should have put out. Well I waited to see him again only never to see him but to see another worker after over 5min and when she asked is everything ok. I replied .."it would be if I can get some silverware to eat my dinner"! She apologized and gave me my silverware. I digged in right away to my mashed potatoes and they where cold and DID NOT taste anything like garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was like a brick and clearly not cooked to how I asked for it. The only thing that tasted decent was the Fettuccine Alfredo. The only reason why I didn't say anything was because I was just so OVER it and truly upset about the whole experience. I haven't been to Carrabba's in YEARS and was so excited to go and what a disappointment it was. I will never return just because of my experience and the quality of the food, and with ALL of that I tipped the absent waiter a little over 20%. It really sad because I remember this place being so good with food and service and for the time I went for it not to be busy at all it should have not be an excuse whatsoever! I would have given it a 1 star but the Bread & Dipping Sauce Trio was...

Going to Carrabba’s for years, always excellent. Last time was disappointing. Grilled pork chop was good but surprisingly small , almost half inch thick. Marsala sauce barely covered the top. Mashed potatoes were very “gluey” if you will not fluffy. Truffle fries were fries with grated cheese over ,NO truffle at all or flavor . Cannoli cake for two was good , however only came with one cannoli , forget the second person. Portion really got smaller while prices went up. Price up is ok but don’t cheap out in portions. Always had leftovers from Carrabba’s not this time. Lemonade and ice tea were not fresh made like from can tasted. Forget to mention the potatoes also came out barely warm. Salad not cold and crisp. People next to us sent items back. Really going downhill , time to get new management! Think we are done with Carrabba’s!

An update from 10/5/24 Nothing changed since last visit. Should have went to Outback, had coupon so tried last time. Jalea was excellent. Soup is main reason stopped. Sausage lentil good but Luke warm? Chicken Marsala had gravy like really watered down , no flavor, as well as chicken Bryan, very little gravy and bland. Jalea should go to good restaurant, deserves better. Carrabba’s used to be so delicious and different, now just lacking everything? Would not be surprised to see this store close. Not sure how others are or just the management for this store? Not busy Saturday afternoon? Not worth it again, we will go to our local Outback which is far superior, quality and consistent.Forgot we ordered the no truffle fries before, same all we tasted was salted fries? Another note is that the mushrooms were from a can and not fresh in the watery Marsala. Definitely won’t be back , even...

Editing this review after todays visit. Service was sub par, the food very inconsistant. We ordered the trio dipping sauces for the bread and the alfredo sauce was cream and water, no cheese in it. It took 15 minutes to get the waitress to take it back so she could add cheese to it. It came back cold. We sent that dip back and reordered with the tomato cream sauce. We then noticed the inconsistancies with the two tomato cream sauces that were on the plate. The first one was seperating from the oil. We also had to wait for bread to be able to eat the rest of sauces. All just cold at that point. I ordered a to go johnny trio which was supposed to be on a seperate bill. It came out about 20 minutes before our food did. For my meal i got the lobster ravioli which tasted great but hardly filled with lobster. Husband ordered the johnny trio for his meal and the steak came out over cooked when he ordered it medium. I discovered layer on that the plates had been left under heat lamp too long. Took a while to get waitress back over to correct it. It was finally corrected (we hope). He took that steak to go without being able to check it for preparedness because the waitress was supposed to bring new silverware but she didnt bother. She dropped off the check without asking about how the new steak was cooked. I noticed the extra dinner i ordered was on the original bill..i didnt bother to have it corrected as it would have taken too long...we just paid and left. Total time there was probably 2 1/2 hours. We wont be back. I understand being short staffed but some of this is...
