Update: I've been coming here frequently for months for both takeout and dine-in and the pho is always amazinng. Easily best pho in Miami! Definitely better than Pho 79 (sorry, Pho 79)! Their Thai milk tea is also great! Very creamy. I also love their rice noodle vermicelli bowls! Yum yum yum yum. The atmosphere is always really quiet and pleasant when I come in. I love that there is no loud music. I can just sit and enjoy my meal in peace! ❤️🤗
old review: I've picked up here a few times and their staff is friendly and the food is very good! I like the pho, Thai thea, and vermicelli rice bowls. They also offer American food options and boba milk drinks. If you order takeout, when you pick up your order, double check that everything is included. Last time, they forgot our drinks and we had to drive back. They were very friendly and apologetic about it. Will be back for sure.
At least currently, you can only order takeout through their website, not delivery, which works for us. Their website is easy to use to create and pay for an online order and the order is done pretty fast. The menu items on their online ordering platform sometimes lack a description. I would like to request/suggest 2 things: (1) add a Vietnamese barbecue beef vermicelli bowl to the menu (just like the pork bowls, but beef). (2) On the website, upload a PDF of the full menu for guests who want to just look at the menu but who do not want to use the online ordering interface. That way they can see the restaurant menu formatted as it appears in-person.
Prices are a little high, but I assume they are only as high as required to stay in business. Currently, the prices seem comparable to *Pho 79 Pinecrest, or slightly higher.

Read moreThis is very unusual restaurant where 2 different amd different name restaurant and different kinds of foods are under one . In the early morning hours around 7am - 2 pm the serve american diner style breakfast and lunch but from 11am around 930pm. They are operating and servicing authentic Vietnamese food. They claimed it was cooked by a Vietnamese person but never seen any Vietnamese people because the front of the house staff are mostly Chinese or etc. Who does not speak Vietnamese. Might be a turn off or will scare some old school Vietnamese people to think it is americanized Vietnamese food. The pho here is good . Especially the pho big ribs or pho oxtail. The portions are huge because it comes with most of the combinations pho meats also. Unless you have not eaten all day or have e big appetite. You should share it or else you will not be able to finish it. Trust me. I have eaten pho big ribs or pho oxtail in many locations. Usually only comes with big beef ribs or oxtail only without any other meats in it. This place gives you alot of meats and the broth is good also. Only small things here is the style of cophstick they give you here. It is not cheap but for the price you get...
Read morePhokaholic - Fresh as Pho! Neighborhood diner (Walters Coffee Shop) now also serving amazing Vietnamese staples for lunch and dinner. We ordered takeout and started with the spicy beef jerky papaya salad (A.7) - super fresh, thinly julienned green papaya, with mint and basil and finished with a sweet and sticky kind of fish sauce, garnished with thin strips of spicy jerky. We also had the grilled pork rolls (A.3) - light and fresh. Then, we had bun - a mound of vermicelli noodles topped with wonderfully tender bbq pork and shrimp on one (S.6), and thin and ultra crispy pork and veggie egg rolls (S.1) on the other. And, beneath the noodles were tons of fresh basil, mint and veggies; served with their house made noc cham and hot sauce, it was perfection. Phokaholic is a gem hidden in plain sight. Plus, the staff couldn't have been any friendlier and more detail oriented, paying extra care and attention to our request for no peanuts. Can't...
