Cry Baby Creamery is the ice cream parlor attached to Maxwell Bros. Clothing Store. The spot was occupied by Sweet Melody when the pizzeria opened but they left in September presenting an opportunity for Lincoln's Beard Brewery owner John Falco who also owns the pizza place next door to try something new. A beer brewer by trade, he got into the frozen treat business by creating dessert pairings for his beer. Some of his mad genius was to make beer floats with fruit infused popsicles at his brewery. When Sweet Melody moved out Falco felt ready to dive into ice cream. The area was already set up for an ice cream business and he tapped Miami-based Freaks Design Co.to execute his vision of a speakeasy with Las Vegas lounge vibes. The result is a very cool space to satisfy your sweet tooth. During my visit small batch artisan ice cream flavors included Party Animal, a neon green concoction with frosting, sprinkles, and animal crackers, Gimme S'More, roasted marshmallow ice cream milk chocolate chunks, and homemade graham crackers, Veruca Salt, fleur de sel ice cream with homemade caramel, Snake Eyes, vanilla ice cream with chocolate flakes and chocolate chips, and Nanner Pudding, banana ice cream, banana jam swirls, and nilla wafers. Everything looked so good and it was so hard to decide. Any ice cream can be turned into a milk shake and not that you need them but ice cream toppings include guava and caramel swirl, hot fudge, honey nut pralines, and waffle cone crumbles. Sprinkles are always on the house. I finally chose a scoop of The Upside Down, a roasted pineapple ice cream with dark cherry swirl, and butterscotch soaked cake topped with a scoop Lychee Dreams, lychee sorbet made with lychees from Dan Dee Farms which also supplies the mangos for their Mango Dan ice cream. The flavors of the lychee sorbet and the pineapple ice cream were out of this world. I am still bitter that I didn't have enough room to start on some of their ice cream sandwiches like Sticky Fingers made with brownies and vanilla ice cream, Boxcar, a chocolate chip cookie and Oreo ice cream, and the one that I was most interested in Berry Nice, a lemon pound cake with mixed berry ice cream. A gentleman sitting at the table next to me bought one of every kind of ice cream sandwich and was happily going to town. Oh and don't forget the Southernmost Slice, a sort of key lime ice cream pie made with a graham cracker crust and lime pie ice cream. If all of those ice cream treats haven't blown your mind yet, they also sell brownies and cookies. Plus there is incredible pizza and beer at Maxwell's which is just steps away through the connecting sliding barn door. Quiet honestly, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but trust me, the plain exterior is hiding a foodies dream. John Falco going into the dessert business was a brilliant idea. He knocked it out of the park with Cry Baby.

You cannot go wrong with Cry Baby Creamery. Their ice cream and cookies are incredible and my family and I love everything they make. Its worth noting that they are also incredibly kind and hard working people. Their cookies are my family's "Happy Food." During a particularly hard day, when I placed an order online and they didn't have the quantity of a type of cookie I wanted (it was the end of the day), they not only gave me a discounted rate, but through in what seemed like a metric ton of additional goodies. I could not recommend them more. Great food. Good people.

Cry Baby Creamery has a ton of original and delicious flavors that are constantly changing. They even have vegan flavors. I recently had both the Mango-Lemonade and the Guava Sorbet, decided to combine them into a sublime contrast of the sweet-tart mango, and the sweet-creamy guava. They have cookies that look thick and crispy on the outside. They have some amazing looking ice-cream sandwiches. I would love to see them try their hand at a vegan cookie with a vegan coconut milk ice cream. Sign me up!

I scheduled an order via Uber eats and it got cancelled without warning or reason after waiting an hour. I tried contacting them via the number posted here and it just says "Google subscriber you have called is not available" and goes to voicemail. I tried contacting via Instagram to get some kind of response/reasoning for the cancellation and nothing so far. It's a pity that the quality of the product is good yet the customer service is mediocre at best.

Edit/reply: As stated above, I said "nothing *so far". After calling many times to no avail, I went to Instagram where you responded an hour later that it may have been because your internet was down and Uber also confirmed that it was not on their end so I'm confused by your response saying it's on...

Hidden inside of an awesome pizza joint (Maxwell's) you will find this awesome Vegas themed ice cream shoppe and it is a complete vibe. All of the cookies are handmade every morning and I recommend you give the Choc Chip Cookie a try with a dash of sea salt on top.

My go to flavor has to be the Milk and Cookies because this take on the classic Cookies and Cream is amazing. Oh and guess what? they have Vegan options too!

The best thing to remember is that if you are in a rush you can always grab the "Ready to Go Pints or Ice Cream Sandwiches" up front.

Last but not least, it's a small detail but the waffle cones are hand rolled everyday not bought so you can be sure that you are getting a crunchy yummy waffle bowl or cone with your...
