I'm usually a harsh critic, but I can't think of anything they could have done better to make this dining experience more enjoyable. First off, this place is a lot more reasonably priced than many of the other restaurants in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area. The complementary chips and salsa were freshly made and spicier than most places. The service was impeccable. They were incredibly fast and courteous and seemed to know what I needed before I did. The tacos especiales were easily the best tacos I have ever had. I highly recommend the shredded beef. The last time I was here was in 2014, it’s possible they are better now, but I wont likely be giving them a second chance. Heard about this place from my mom who goes here with coworkers often. Was very disappointed. First my menu And my friends showed prices that were $2-$4 different for most items. The place smelled kinda musty :/. Really, really enjoyed the food and ambiance here! The entry way/outdoor seating area is leafy and private, even though the restaurant is on the side of the road you don’t really notice it even if you’re sitting outside The chips and salsa were really excellent, or I should say that the food itself and in general was definitely top notch. At first we thought the meals were a little pricy but decided after a few bites that the food was definitely worth the cost.
