Ok wow!!! With all the delicious Middle Eastern fast food options along Harlem, I wasn’t sure a new establishment would be able to bring something different – but Shawarma Bros changed my mind. They have all the classics you would expect, with some unexpected hits.

First of all: Mansaf in a cup! In my trips overseas to Jordan, I’ve noticed this being advertised and wondered when the concept would arrive in the Chicagoland area. This version at Shawarma Bros is top notch. It’s not a watered down fast food version, and is well worth the price. Succulent meat, real jameed (fermented yogurt stew), and fluffy rice. Not quite my mom’s 😉, but everyone in our group (adults and kids) agreed that it was great.

Possibly my favorite thing was the shawarma fries! We ordered the “butter chicken” version, which had Indian flair and reminded me of Canadian poutine – yet somehow still very Middle Eastern.

Everything was made fresh to order, and the guys working there were friendly, passionate, and interested in our opinion. We will definitely be ordering from here and hitting the drive through regularly.

note to the owner: my son says thank you for the baklawa 🙏 See you...

Shawarma Bros is a must-visit restaurant for any food lover out there! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home.

But what really stole the show was the food. I ordered the steak shawarma, and let me tell you, it was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the combination of fresh vegetables and there flavorful sauce made every bite a heavenly experience.

But the steak shawarma was just the beginning. Shawarma Bros offers an extensive menu of Middle Eastern cuisine, from traditional appetizers like hummus and falafel to mouth-watering entrees like Mensef.

The restaurant also boasts a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options, which is perfect for those who are health-conscious or have dietary restrictions.

Overall, I would highly recommend Shawarma Bros to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Middle Eastern dining experience. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Don't miss out on the opportunity to try the steak shawarma - it's truly a...

Maybe the best place for schawarma and falafel near Blue Island. The staff is beyond polite and the food is nearly beyond this planet at this price point. They make the chicken schawarma and the falafel by hand and they pack the life out of the pita pockets.

The same 3-4 guys are working every time we go in and they are some of the most naturally-courteous employees (owners?) that I've ever encountered. The place is not very notable from the outside although it is noticeable as it sits right on the corner of the intersection. They are open late and they have a drive-thru which is great for those late-night cravings for those who might work off-hours.

To my shame, I once got a chicken schawarma pita and a falafel pita to eat in the same meal and wasn't hungry for nearly the entire next day. This place is amazing and feels like you're supporting the local food and restaurant community in...

Came in extra hungry, I wanted Mediterranean good that had a drive thru and discovered them. Got to the drive thru and ordered the gentlemen speaking to me was so cool and down to earth after placing my order. I wasn't sure about what I wanted to drink and he talked me into getting out of my car and coming in. When I didn't want to get out of my car that's why I went to them!😂... Anywho lets get into this Spicy chicken Shawarma bowl. First of all I appreciate the well seasoned moist chicken. I have been to several places and everyone has the hard, dried out, not really seasoned chicken. I'm sorry I just had to say it. But this chicken was Excellent. All the sides were great and the rice was moist too. Trust me it's the little things that count. It was my first time and won't be my last. Sorry for the bad pic, I was eating while writing the review😂 Great staff and food!❀ P.s please don't change!Lol

We’ve been there twice in the first week they opened & exceptional food. The shawarma bowls, wraps, pitas, etc. are all excellent & you choose your ingredients (chipotle style but far superior) which are plentiful. The hand pressed meats are like butter & very tender. You must try the shawarma fries & we were all going crazy for them. We had the butter chicken topped shawarma fries & should’ve gotten more because we all devoured them. I love the chicken bowl with basmati rice with my choice of toppings & sauce. The rib eye steak shawarma is delectable! The grilled wraps & pitas are delicious & all the portions are large plus great prices. This place is our new favorite-clean, fresh & great quality. The owners & workers are kind & very welcoming.
