Hardee’s — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

Iam by no means here to bash any corporation, although iam here to hopefully inform a manager or a owner or someone that this store really needs some serious TLC!! I and also my wife have worked and managed many kitchens and also restaurants from chick fila to olive garden to O'Charley's to fire house subs and many more. So my point in saying that is that the menu, in drive thru should definitely be changed before 12:25pm on a Sunday. My wife and I go to hardee's to grab some lunch we get to the drive thru the lunch menu isn't up, so we ask if someone could turn the menu and the young man on the head set said "oh yes of course I'll see if I can get someone" and so we say okay thank you and we wait for about 10 min. Noone comes out. So my wife says do you want to just go in, I said yeah sure let's do it no biggie. We drive around to the front to get out and go in and still noone had went out to turn the sign, and the front doors were so dirty you couldn't even see in side. Not exadurating!! Then this young man (an emplyee) walks out the back door with garbage and his hair is everywhere, he was far from being dressed the way any food organization would intend for there employees to be presented to the public. Not to mention the door to the kitchen area was left standing wide open. That's called a chance for many germ pathegians, and a dirty kitchen. So my biggest question is where was the MOD? So we leave and drive around the building and the sign was still not turned and we go past the drive thru window and it is as filthy as the front doors were. Sunday Oct 2 830am. pulled up to drive thru, no cars in line. after the pickup window though, there was oddly 2 vehicles sitting waiting.

Upon pulling up to the mic and board we were trying to decide what to get. the speaker firmly and clearly stated, "Welcome to Hardee's you are free to order WHEN YOU ARE READY"". we were not ready and the only car in line Sunday morn so looked over the choices. 5 seconds later in a more aggressive voice, "Welcome to Hardee's you are free to order WHEN YOU ARE READY". we decided in our best interest to begin our order as to not enrage the employees within.

quickly picked 2 #6's with sweet teas. we pulled up to the window and saw the two cars sitting out of line in front of us. inside the window the employee had 6 drinks lined up in and off the soda dispenser rack. she took payment then handed us 1 sweet tea. then handed us our change. 20 seconds later she handed us a bag which we had a feeling we should check. we opened it up in the white styro and checked sandwich, not our order. the girl took it back then appeared out front of the store and handed it to the truck driver in front of us. after a minute or two she handed us another bag and we proceeded to check it again. the order was correct but there was no salt, pepper, forks, or condiments included.

fried steak biscuit is good but the service there sucks. unless you wanna deal with the chaos and rudeness it's best to only visit once every 3 months.

there was absolutely no need to rush us thru our order when they couldn't handle 2 cars in front of us. oh and there was no shorthandedness going on in there... it looked like 4 employees bumping back and forth into each...

Upon arriving at 11:55 a.m. today (Sunday) the front registers were closed. I had to wait for the drive-thru cashier to help me while 2 others walked passed me as if I hadn't been standing there. I ordered the Frisco burger combo and was given a cup. As I walked to the lobby drink machine I observed the one on the right that was broken, the front panel was falling off and an out of order sign was on it. I then proceeded to get ice from the machine on the left but there was no ice. In an attempt to be understanding that there were only 3 people working during lunch on a Sunday I simply made my drink without ice. I waited for my food which seemed to be forever. Once I finally received it, it was in a bag and not on a tray, there were no napkins, my drink tasted flat and the bacon on my burger wasn't even done. I have visited this location before since I am a property manager on Panama City Beach and have never been impressed but today was the final straw. I will go next door to whataburger from now on and advise any of my guests to do the same. The food was mediocre at best just as...
