I would have never wasted my time to write a review about a messed up order at a fast food restaurant, but after being rudely talked to from the manager when my husband pointed out that the order was wrong, that’s when I feel it is necessary to point it out. The manager tried to say that a plain burger comes with condiments on it, when we have ordered here a ton of times before and have ordered the same way every single time, but this time mustard comes on a plain burger per the manager when it never has before. The manager was refusing to remake the order even though the sticker on the wrapping and the receipt said plain cheese burger. A bystander had to even stand up and say that the manager was wrong when he over heard our conversation that in fact, a plain burger does not come with mustard on it. Why work at a fast food place as a manager if you don’t even know what a simple request like this means? We weren’t even mad after driving home, 15 mins, just to turn back around, another 15 mins, to request our correct order. We should have checked before leaving the parking lot, so we accepted that as our fault. We didn’t get mad till the refusal to fix our order. We just wanted dinner, but instead we got greeted with a rude manager stating that the customer was wrong and that he didn’t want to remake our order. Young man who was very condescending in the drive thru with short dreads was disgusting . Many slick remarks , handed me my change and without changing his gloves dissected my burger in the drive thru window because he sent the wrong burger out . My burger didn’t have any mayo and had lettuce which didn’t ask for lettuce . We tried explaining to him what was wrong but he was hands deep in my sandwhich , he came back a minute later with the photo below , they dipped the burger into mayo and sent it back and he laughed about it . Asked for straws a SECOND time , and he said it’s in your bag . As I sit with the bag upside down showing no straws . Why do we have to beg for straws . Both burgers very cold , guy in drive thru needs to go , has no business working in hospitality . So disgusted by this experience . Read moreTerrible service at this Whataburger. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 burgers, all with fries, and asked for 6 ranch dressings (which I was told would cost extra—no problem). When I got my food, I immediately checked and noticed one burger, one fries, and all 6 ranch dressings were missing. I told the employee right away. She asked what was missing, handed me the dressings, and told me to pull forward to wait for the rest.
After waiting about 5–10 minutes, another employee brought out the burger and fries—except the fries were still missing. I had to wait another 5 minutes for someone to go back and bring them out. All of this happened when the restaurant was NOT busy—just one car ahead of me and several employees visible inside.
When I got home, I checked my food and was even more disappointed. One of the burgers was supposed to have no bacon. Instead, they removed the entire meat patty and gave me just a bun with bacon. Seriously?
This isn’t even a one-time mistake. I had a similar issue last time when I ordered through DoorDash—items were missing then, too. And it wasn’t DoorDash’s fault.
