Another Broken Egg Cafe — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

I really wanted to like this place after seeing all the great reviews but overall I did not care for the fact that we had to wait about 45 minutes on a Saturday morning around 11. They’re just were not that many people in seating options in the restaurant so I understand why they had to wait but wish that they had more room to accommodate earlier. It’s not like we got there at 9 AM in the morning. We were more towards the lunch hour.

The biggest thing is, I thought their coffee did not taste that great and that’s a big thing for breakfast place to have good coffee was not impressed at all with their coffee further to that our kids were pretty hungry after they had their kids meals and I felt like my egg Omelette was small for having added a couple extra eggs. I ended up having to leave and we all went and got some fast food on the way home.

I think an IHOP would’ve been just as good in my opinion the atmosphere might be slightly better than an IHOP little bit nicer tables but outside of that you’re only getting a little extra for the atmosphere not the food.

For specialty breakfast place they could do a lot more. I’ve had very, very nice omelettes at other specialty breakfast place shops and this place is just OK. Between that and the smaller portions of food and us walking away hungry I have to say it was average at best.

Came here recently due to the great time we had before. Horrible mistake. We ordered the beignets our order came out so hard i couldn’t stick the fork through them, and they were cold. We talked to our waitress and her response was “They’re supposed to be hard and crunchy”. No, they’re not and especially NOT cold. She got annoyed and said she will see what she can do. We got another order. we ordered our food, and my pancakes weren’t cooked all the way through. They were sticky and the batter inside was so uncooked it was stuck to my knife. The omelettes were DRY. the scrambled eggs were WET. it just didn’t make sense. I would never be back off this experience. the service was terrible a manager never came to see/talk to us afterwards and our waitress didn’t care about the service nor the food. She took my pancakes back and didn’t check on us again until bringing us the bill. we asked if we were being charged for the pancakes and she said no but you’re being charged for the eggs and bacon (the sides) which weren’t eaten either. at that point and only that point her response was i’ll just get my boss. TERRIBLE SERVICE. if i could give it under a one star i would.

The manager was very nice. very understanding, she looked at my pancakes and knew they were undercooked and i showed her the batter on both sides of my knife and she knew. she took care of us after since the server finally got her. I'm a heavy set, hungry dude I love good drinks and decadent food This diner has a local vibe, and a real chill mood The second I saw the menu, my eyes were glued The English muffins are crisp yet soft The butter melts fast when you top it off My waiter, Alex was managing the bar Yet still had time to give me five star Service with responsive attention The menu is a genius Cajun / Southern invention

I Door Dashed the chicken waffles, after surgery And they were so good, it gave me an urge to see The menu in person, so I drove on by The Mardi Gras omelette caught my eye Chives, spices, shrimp, sausage, crawfish I got emotional, as in front of me, sat all this I was blown away by the speed it delivered Temperature inside was fine, never sweated or shivered

Drinks were noticed and refilled on the spot I was eager to pay them every dollar I've got I got the hollandaise on the side As other diners tend to serve it over-applied Alex brought the perfect amount And honestly, the smell of it all watered my mouth I had potatoes on the side, with some salt and pepper Ketchup with an omelette always makes it better The table was clean, and my plate set the perfect scene You can review my photo to see what I mean I'm moving away soon, but I'll always be a breakfast fiend
