Edit: 2 days later- I decided to try them one more time. I placed an online order just like the other day. I walked in and barely got to the counter and the cashier was just finishing up putting cash/change in the till from the customer she just waited on. She then looks at me and rudely asks if I am going to say something, tell her my name or something. I looked back over my shoulders and sure enough she was talking to me so I looked back at her confused and yelled what??? at her. The customer she just cashed out even exclaimed "he literally just walked in the door!" The employees need to act professional and greet customers properly. This is for sure the last time I will patronize this establishment. Read the owner's response to the reviews. Its the same cut and paste "as you can see from the reviews we are not known for our customer service." Why don't you clean house then and fix the problem?
Original post: First time customer. Placed an online order for an 8" cheesesteak came out to almost $15 with all the extras I chose. Paid for it online and it says to skip the line for no wait. The gentleman at the register ignored me and served two other gentlemen before me since they came from the other counter stepping past me with tickets in their hands.
I finally got my order and sat outside. There is very limited seating. Sandwich looked good but I think they used the wrong bread. I asked one of the workers if rosemary parmesan is supposed to look different than a regular white hoagie. She said yes and they were out of the rosemary parmesan so they gave me that.
I would have appreciated a call to let me know if there is something they can not provide on my order so I can make the decision on a different option. I would not have went with regular white bread. They had my phone number which was needed for online orders. Was not offered an apology or anything. I paid almost $5 in extras for this...
Read moreUpon arrival my family was enjoying the beautiful weather. We choose to ride our bikes got hungry and I being a big fan of Jersey Mike's from past experience wanted to eat there. We pulled up to the Jersey Mike's on 23rd ST. I walked in to wash hands before I placed order and instead of a happy pleasant welcoming from staff instead I was told by John " manager in training" that we needed to remove our bikes from property for paying customers. I politely told him that we are paying customers. As we were looking over menu I observed a female employee walk in what seemed to be for the beginning of her shift. With hands all in her hair she goes to work putting on gloves never washing her hands. I begin placing our order and to inform John what I just saw and his response was I will take care of that. He allowed her to prepare food without washing her hands.. I had to return my food because John put Oregon on my food and I hate Oregon instead of fixing my food take a second John took 3 more customers then after me telling him 3 times what I wanted finally I could enjoy my tuna bowl. Looked down and as an experienced manager in the food industry, Serv Safe certified would never served tomatoes that John put in my tuna bowl.. before leaving I needed a bag to put left overs in I got in line and when it was my turn John skipped me and went to help next customer in line. I spoke up and told John that I didn't appreciate him skipping me all I needed was a to go bag. I will be contacting His boss and the better business bureau. I arrived and I told the lady that I had placed my order online she didn't say anything I was waiting for a response maybe she would check on my order but she just looked at me and walked away with no response. I found out another customer was waiting for an hour for his order.
I simply asked the another employee I think her name was Pamela do you know how much longer for my food ? and I explained to her that I placed it online this the first time she asked the cook and he said "I'll get to it when I get to it if he doesn't want to wait he can leave! I work for Jersey Mike's not him.
I found it to be rude I didn't say anything I finally got my order about 25 minutes later and I tried to speak with him and he totally ignored me .
