This was my very first time using the McDonald's App. I placed just shy of a $30 order 6am. I pull up to the drive thru about 10 mins later and give them the code for my order and am told to pull to the first window. I get my order and immediately head home. Please keep in mind that I had ordered breakfast for several people and none of the order included any drinks (was all food). About another 10 mins later I get home and unpacking the order see that I have been shorted (2) of the (4) Sausage McMuffins. So I check the ticket to make sure I hadn't made the mistake ordering. No, no mistake (4) are reflected on the receipt. So I then call the number for this McDonald's printed on the receipt. A woman answers, never identifies herself. I explain the problem with my order from about 20 mins ago, and have been shorted (2) sausage McMuffins. She then tells me that they must have misunderstood me and only rang me up for (2) [I had ordered (2) Buy 1 get 1 for $1. Which totals (4) overall]. It's reflected twice as BOGO on the receipt and showed twice]. I explained that I placed the order online and gave her the order number, at which time she basically talked over me, cutting me off & telling me "well, you can come back up here." Not exactly what I had hoped for this morning trying to feed people before they left for work, but I said Okay I'll bring my receipt. I took a picture of the complete order just as it came out of the bag before heading back to McDonald's a 2nd time for this very same order. I get there and there is a line about 6 vehicles deep on the side of the building waiting their turns to pickup their orders and 2 deep at the order speaker. So I wait, once up to the speaker I explain how I had used the app, was shorted and called about it. I was told I could come back up. She asked which manager it was that I spoke with, and I told her I didn't know as she never identified herself. But that it was about 15 mins ago. The same manager comes the speaker and asks "was this for 2 sausage biscuits?" To which I initially said yes, then as I pull to the first window I realized she had said sausage biscuit, not sausage McMuffin. So when I pull to the 1st window the girl initially asks me what I had been shorted. So I show her my receipt AND the picture of all the food. And I ask her also are these sausage and gravy biscuit platters? (Online first glance the menu pictures looks like 4 biscuits. So I wanted to make sure what I had was correct since I never had ordered this before or had used the app before. She initially told me NO, that's just a biscuit and gravy. So I told her, well I guess I was shorted on that too. She tells me she's going to get the manager. The Mgr is a woman about 5'9" late 30's - early 40's, heavy set black lady. Once she walked to the window there was NO Apology of any kind. She never gave her name, and the look on her face was of disgust. I initiated the conversation telling her that I had ordered (2) of the BOGO Sausage McMuffin's but had only . . And before I could finish she stuck her hand out to me thru the window while turning her head away from me and saying I need your receipt first. So I handed it to her. She glances at it and then says "So all you are missing is 2 sausage biscuits." Uh, No. I ordered (4) Sausage McMuffins like is on the receipt and was shorted (2). And then I asked if that was a sausage biscuit platter in the picture as I showed her the picture of my order. She kind of side looks me while she shifts her weight from one hip to the other, and tells me "that's a sausage platter, that's what you ordered." I said, "Okay, well I wasn't sure and this is why I am asking". At which point she just turned her back to me and walked away. The girl actually working the window appeared very embarrassed as she quickly stepped back up to the window and saying "Okay, we got you. We got you." I was told to pull forward to the next window and I waited for several minutes. A polite young guy with tatts handed me my shorted items. Service was great, Manager has...
Read moreThis is perhaps one of the most unprofessional McDonald's I've had the misfortune to patronize. After more than five minutes of waiting I asked the cashier, who was busy chatting and laughing with the manager, if McDonald's had a time limit for serving customers, as they did when I was a child at my first job at McDonald's. She replied that she was waiting on the fries. A couple of minutes later she brings me my food and the fries were over- cooked. I told her and she replied that she'd taken them out when the timer had gone off. So I told her I didn't want them and wanted fries that weren't burnt. Then I asked for her manager who said they took them out when the timer had gone off. I've eaten from this store before. It was a complete lie. It's also unacceptable to have to wait almost ten minutes for substandard service and food. The manager replied again with her pathetic excuse and I lost my mind on her. I'm the customer. I demand quality food and decent service when I give my money to a business. This acceptance of low quality service and food has got to stop. Employing low IQ, incompetent managers seems to have become the MO of McDonald's today. They should not be running a business, this manager especially. Managers aren't meant to be the friends of employees, but the ones ensuring the quality of service for the customer and their employers. This manager was more concerned with chatting up her employees than speedily serving her customers, at lunch time. Her lie only served to enrage me to a response I'm not entirely proud of, but feel fully justified in displaying. She then allowed her employees to yell at me and argue with me as she returned my money. She also gave me too.much money in return. Instead of correcting her error, admitting she'd lied, and rectifying the situation so that she continues to have a returning customer, she chose to lose a customer, money for this business. Americans are tired of being treated as if their lucky to have a businesses service when it's the other way around. There is more than one McDonald's in this area. I'd suggest others take the time to drive to one as opposed to supporting a business that clearly doesn't care about their...
Read moreSo this morning 700 I go to this McDonalds. There's only me and another car no cars behind us. I order a number 5 with a medium Dr pepper and a sausage biscuit meal with a chocolate milk. I pay and get up to the pick up window the girl is so worried about her hair not moving and trying to be cute out the window. She handed me a bag and asks me did you have drinks. I'm already thinking great let me check the food because she doesn't even know what she handing me but I said yes I had a Dr pepper and chocolate milk. So she hands me one soda out one hand I said is this and pepper? She doesn't say anything bc she's trying to look like a model or something out the McDonalds drive thru and then hands me the other soda in the other hand. I didn't take that one I told her I had a chocolate milk three times in a row before she snapped out of her daydream and she just turned around and went and got one. Checking the bag stuff was missing. So I told her. I'm assuming it was a manager who handed me my missing item and was very nice. It was too early to even mention that this may not be a fashion show and maybe we should concentrate on getting the correct orders so I said thank you and pulled off. I'm driving down the road realize no straw is in the bag for my drink. Sigh...I took the lid off and about spit the whole drink out. It was diet coke. I was ticked. Like how hard is it to read a screen and pay attention to what you are doing? Seriously I asked you if that was Dr pepper and you nodded your head. Ugh! Never again will I go to that McDonalds ever! Management needs to explain that its not a modeling agency you aren't cute hanging out the window looking dumb as hell while someone is trying to help you do your job and you're just standing there with you mouth half open nodding your head not listening. Breakfast ruined...thanks whoever the idiot was in the...
