Waffle House — Restaurant in Panama City

One of the most terrible experiences I've had at a waffle House.... I got the cheese steak and eggs. I said two different times can you please add cheese to the cheese steak. She told me oh yeah that's part of the cheese steak and eggs.

I said I think that's in The scrambled eggs. I don't want scrambled eggs I would like over medium with cheese in The cheesesteak please. And the magic words I said if it does not come with cheese add cheese and I'll pay for it.

Food gets dropped mediocrly warm with not a drop of cheese whatsoever on it. Told her instantly no cheese on The cheesesteak like I said three times.... She takes it back and says to the girl he wants cheese on the cheesesteak. The woman working the grill said "like mixed in" and she said "I don't know, I told him it came in the eggs"..….. no ma'am, I reiterated this point twice because I knew this was going to happen.

I then got my plate back with two refrigerator cold pieces of American cheese slices set directly on top of a lukewarm steakums.

Almost impressively one egg was over hard while the other one was over easy. Completely slimy, while the other one had a hard yolk... Kind of impressed how you can do that?

The toast was toast.

No check back, no follow up, had to walk to the front and check out with somebody else and they had to go get the ticket from the woman.

You couldn't pay me enough money to ever...

The restrooms were nasty and not stocked. I sat 15 mins before being set up ask for coffee and plenty of creamer coffee was cold by the time I got the cream drank half of it asked for a warm up and more cream got it warmed by the time i got the cream it was cold again... Worst waitress ive ever had at a waffle house in the 20 states ive traveled. Food was bad and there was 2 guys cooking. My hashbrowns were burnt over medium eggs were over light so white was runny and cold that ruined my appetite medium bacon was burnt in the middle and raw on the ends toast was cold grits were lumpy and cold. This resturaunt 6 months after Hurricane still doesnt have full menu why...and cant cook the little bit they have. Waited behind 1 person to pay and the waitress walked away when it was my turn and hollered for another waitress to ring me up so i had to wait for her to wash her dishes to ring me up this place needs a manager or regional manager cgecking...

We go here pretty often and overall are perfectly happy with everything. The food is always cooked well. The staff are always friendly. The atmosphere is usually fine. The last time we went there (5 days ago), the service was a tiny bit slower, but was completely understandable as it was very busy and our waitress was kinda new and still getting into the swing of it. That didn't bother us at all. The only thing I would say is the atmosphere was not really to our liking, however that was not the fault of the Waffle House or the staff in any way but merely due to the timing. Maybe not the best idea to go here around the time the bars are closing if loud, rude and obnoxious drunks are not your kinda crowd. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Definitely have to give high praise to the staff here for their patience and continued friendly service when faced with some very intoxicated and rude customers. We will see them...
