I had a terrible experience and will never be back. I have been a proud owner of three Toyotas and two Lexus. I have always bought new vehicles and always take my vehicle to the dealer for service. I made an appointment. They scheduled me a week out. I was instructed to be there at 8:30 in the morning and I live an hour and a half away. When I arrived, there were six lines of cars almost to the street. I went in to try to figure out who my service advisor was and someone said you can just talk to anybody. You don't have one we don't have those at this store. I told them that I had an appointment for 8:30 and they told me just to park my car behind the line and that the technicians grab from the pile as they are done with whatever car they are working on. They told me I did not have a specific mechanic even though I made an appointment for a very specific thing. So the appointment is completely unnecessary. It's basically a first come first serve basis and any mechanic can just work on your car when they are done with their project. So I went to speak Doyle. I explained my frustration of what was the purpose of waiting an entire week for an appointment if that's not the way they ran their shop. He informed me that he would get with a technician and let them know my frustration and they will get me in as soon as possible. I told him I had already taken in my car for service at other dealerships and have spent almost $5,000 trying to fix my problem and they were not able to find it. I told him I'm pretty much willing to spend whatever it takes to get my car to stop the vibration. Doyle kept checking with me every 30 minutes and explain to me that they were still busy but that they will get to me soon. After 5 hours of sitting in the lobby, Doyle said he did not know when they were going to get to my car and that he offered me a rental car. I was not even home yet when he called me an hour and a half later and told me that the technician had looked at my vehicle and that the problem was I needed 2 new tires. I informed him that that was certainly not the issue and to please try to find it. Inform me he was positive that was the issue and that we at least needed to start there. He also asked if I could bring the rental car back. I explained to him that I was not even home with it and was an hour and a half away and that it would not happen until the next day if we had a chance because we had a very busy schedule. I told him since he had my car already on the lift To please search for the actual problem. This could have been completely avoided if they would have taken me in at 8:30 and informed me at 9:30 or 9:45 what they thought the issue was. Instead of having me sit in the lobby for hours on end. This was a Friday and was not able to return the car the next day. They are closed on Sunday so I showed up at 8:30 in the morning on Monday and he was frustrated that I did not return the car on saturday. He also wanted to charge me for the day of the rental car which I dispute it. He explained that the only reason he put me on a rental car is because I told him that I want it to fix a car regardless of price. I said that is correct Doyle . But instead you assured me the problem the problem was my tires when I very intently told you that I was 1,000% sure that that was not my issue. I also reminded him that I told him to look for something else. In my opinion, they could have also put some tires on there and checked it before they assured me that would be the fits. They were charging me by the hour anyway and they did not have a limit. I was frustrated that they did not find the issue and did and did not want to give him the business of the tires because I insisted that they look for the other problem and they refused to. I took it to a tire shop and almost $1,000 for two new Michelin Tires. I brought the car back to Doyle a few hours later and explain to him that I had just put two brand new Michelin tires on the vehicle and the vibration was still there. I asked him if he can put me back on the lift and...
Read moreWe are giving a 1 star for the experience; however, we would like to give our salesperson 4-5 stars. We think she did an awesome job selling. Our 1 star rating begins with this experience: We waited for hours to be seen by the finance person. Once in his office, he was taking too long because he was having issues: i.e. computer/slow/ and with his numbers or the apps. After long hours in his office, he did not provide us the new registration for the new truck. We came back late in the afternoon to drop the truck we traded, and we waited to get the registration and turned out he left already, but did not leave the registration to anyone. Also, the new truck was empty on gas. The sales lady stated, the manager asked her to do something and she instructed someone to fill up the gas. So we waited again for our sales person to put gas for the new truck. The next day, Aug 1, @ 8am+, I called and spoke to our salesperson, requested to have our registration ready for pick-up around 9am. She was surprised that the finance person did not give us the registration after we signed all the forms. She said, will be texting the finance person to have the registration ready. I came around 11 am+ and the registration hasn't been ready. Found our sales person and she had to get it from the finance person during that time. A good piece of advice to anyone trading your used excellent condition vehicle. When you're having the feeling the offering price for your trade is too low for the value of your vehicle, especially after doing your research on multiple sites, leave and go somewhere. I know dealers are in the business of making money, but our 2 year old well kept 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss, in good/excellent condition with 24,800 miles only, and with additional upgrades was only paid $38,000, I argued that our lowest offer was over $40,400, in which the manager argued that amount is for the retail price, well we took the bait and we said yes, now they're selling our truck for $48,547. I know they did minor works, but it wouldn't even amount half of this retail price for our truck. I hope this rating will help others to make an informed and wise decision in buying their next vehicle and in getting a decent fair price for their used car. As a courtesy to all involved- I did not mention any name(s).
Update: Over a month later we didn’t received any calls for making it up to us, as the website rep stated in response to...
Read more09/11/2025 -I realize this dealership has many 5 star reviews and I also recognize that everyone has an off day occasionally. However, I do read reviews before I visit dealerships so I hope this is helpful to someone else.
I’m giving a two star because our sales person was very kind and accommodating, while we were shopping for a vehicle. However, when it came time to get pricing on the vehicle we were interested in and receive our trade evaluation from the manager on duty, he was nothing short of an arrogant, egotistical individual. He was not respectful or interested in building a relationship that would have made a satisfied customer. He simply wanted to try to bulldoze us into making a decision on the spot. When we were not Intimidated or manipulated by his usual “tactics”, He responded with what seemed to me as childish behavior. I cannot personally recommend this dealership for informed buyers. I suppose he is accustomed to a less informed buyer, who gives in to his manipulation practices during the sales process. I am sorry that this experience was not more professional and pleasant because I would have happily given a very positive review, if that were the case.
We did however leave this dealership and drove a few miles down the road to Honda of Bay County where we had a great experience with Oscar. Driving away with smiles in our newly purchased vehicle.(which took less than a hour and a half)
I feel bad for the sales people who do their job well, only to have a sale ripped out from under them because of poor leadership. I wouldn’t recommend supporting this kind of unprofessionalism when you’re considering making such an important purchase.
Update: 9/18/25- I am reducing my 2 star to a one. It appears that the response below from the Dealership is just a token response that they publish to make it appear as though they are committed to customer resolution. When in fact no one tried to contact me to gain insight on my experience and improve their process. Once again proving that their words and actions do not align with integrity and customer satisfaction. I can’t believe that a reputable brand like Toyota continues to partner with a dealer that drives customers away from their brand. This dealer is a clear example of why vehicle shopping has become such a...
